"Nous souhaitions faire découvrir cet endroit que nous connaissions à nos enfants pour notre 30eme anniversaire de mariage. Tout était réuni pour un moment fabuleux :- le cadre d'abord avec cette magnifique terrasse à l'ombre des grands arbres- le service ensuite : un accueil chaleureux et un service présent comme il peut l'être dans ce type d'établissement mais juste comme il le faut - les mets : de la présentation aux saveurs tout est subtile et délicieux. Un petit bémol tout de même : une entrée annoncée sur la carte comme du bœuf cru et qui s'avère être essentiellement à base de tourteau. Très Bon mais ce n'est pas ce à quoi nous nous attendions et l'un d'entre nous n'a pas aimé.- la carte des vins est riche et variée, on y trouve forcément son bonheurEt pour conclure une très gentille attention : les serveurs avaient entendu dans nos conversations qu'ils s'agissait d'un anniversaire de mariage. Avec les desserts ils nous ont apporté un tableau sur un chevalet avec l'inscription "Joyeux Anniversaire" et la date, le tout en chocolat et nous sommes repartis avec.En résumé un restaurant excellent avec une addition en rapport avec le cadre et ses 2 étoiles"

"My birthday dinner at Cabro d'or, I thought it would be better for the price it costs. We want to spend an unforgettable birthday party in a privileged and idyllic setting. I did not like the atmosphere of the restaurant, to my cold and impersonal taste, the cold service team, cold waitresses and waitresses, they are not at the height of this renowned and high-end restaurant. Or has the warm welcome in France and the unbreakable service at the Baumaniere?! The quality of reception and service are well below, it is a shame. It was raining bcp, there were no parasols available to go to the car, my husband forced to return to look for umbrellas in the car, the parking lot is not next. We didn't have a good night. We're not tourists, we live in the region, and I'm disappointed, I'm sorry, but we're not going back to Cabro in gold."

"Pas de crėpes ni de gaufres puisque pas de pâte...mais inscrit en gros sur la pancarte à l'entrée, oui bien sur un 16 août c'est bien calculė et à 16h00 en plus, en revanche la serveuse ferait mieux de se trouver un autre boulot pour l'ėtė tant celui ci lui pèse, dommage que cet attrape touristo-nigo fasse encore du chiffre d'affaire à cotė d'hoteliers sėrieux qui eux font leur travail avec professionnalisme. à éviter donc..."

"Jeudi 14 juillet, nous avons organisé un déjeuner d'anniversaire en famille.Nous avions élaboré un menu sur-mesure à cet occasion (mise en bouche, entrée , 2 plats, dessert et un magnifique fraisier avec 7 bougies ) avec les propositions du chef qui a su s'adapter à nos envies.Au delà du déjeuner qui était très agréable, nous étions installés sur la terrasse ombragée et le menu délicieux, je tiens à remercier toute l'équipe pour sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme."

"I wish I could give 0 points, one is way too much, this was clearly the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I ordered medium roasted lamb chops, not for the first time in my life for sure because I like them and therefore know what good lamb chops look and taste like. What came was two large bones with fat and about five milimeters of grey cooked through meat, with more fat in between, served with a few sad looking fries. The dish was "only" 14 Euro but I returned it. Instead of an apology, the "patron" came, still with the plate of awfulness in his hands, and said in a very rude tone that this was what I ordered and what lamb looks like. I told him I did know what lamb is supposed to look like and this was not it. He left. I was not asked by anyone whether I wanted to see the menu again, they just ignored us, so we asked for the bill. When it came, it had the lamb on it! I told the waiter to remove it but he said that's the "patron's" decision and he won't take it off. After another very heated discussion with the worst "patron" and obviously worst cook ever, as he even dared to mention he has been cooking his lamb like this forever (???), we gave up, paid and left. I can't even say the service was bad, it was unbelievable and humiliating!This restaurant obviously still exists for the sole reason that it is one of only two places open in the evening in Les Baux and visitors of the tourist site never return! If your ideal evening doesn't consist of being rudely attacked for critisizing terrible food, don't ever go there!!"

"Joli cadre avec un joli point de vue sur la terrasse. Serveur très sympathique... non, je rigole ! À peine assis, On a failli partir sur le champ tellement il est aimable ! Il a pas choisi le bon métier ! D ailleurs, on l a vu tomber une cuillère par terre pour préparer une table... et la dite cuillère s est bien retrouvée sur la table et non pas au lave-vaisselle. On a pris la formule du jour a 19,90 euros. Très objectivement, la cuisine n est pas mauvaise mais pas spécialement bonne. J ai pas fini le rumsteck car il était de piètre qualité. Je mange tous les jours dans un restaurant avec une formule a 12,50 euros et s est bien meilleur. Notre fille étant allergique à l arachide, on a demandé au serveur si les frites étaient cuites a l huile d arachide, il ne savait pas et on a bien compris que cela le faisait c.... de se renseigner. Il a quand même eu l amabilité de nous donner une réponse. Je l en remercie ! Pour information, depuis 1 an les restaurants doivent informer règlementairement les clients de tous les allergènes présents dans leur plats."

"My wife and I visited recently as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. What a great choice of venue, set in beautiful gardens a short walk below the historic, classic village of Les Baux de Provence. Our room was tastefully appointed, top quality bedding, linen towels. Comfy bed, fantastic shower, top quality television. Private terrace with seating and sunbeds with view into the well manicured gardens Meals served in the oldest part of the hotel which has a pool situated outside the restaurant and its covered veranda breakfast room. Dinner was fine dining superbly presented, delicious and interesting innovative dishes. No question at all as to the wonderful talent of the young chef at this establishment. All dishes were superb. Breakfast also great with home made bread, confitures preserves. The staff are young, friendly, smiling, courteous and ever helpful. They really did make our stay memorable"

"A charming setting, but very disappointed with the dishes. I ordered an inlet salad of penne with burrata and ham, I find myself with 3 mozza balls, pieces of an indefinite meat and penne too much garlic, it's a lying menu that is so announced. The dish was correct, but everything tasted garlic after this disastrous entry... For dessert, new failure: lemon cheesecake is found to be covered with strawberry and almost green peanuts, funny association and not happy at all, acid and fat not doing very good cleaning. Prices are really excessive and quality is not there. I don't recommend it."

"Le cadre est sympa ,petite terrasse et du coup pose déjeuner vers 13h30 en famille 2 adultes et un enfant , avec une envie d'entrecote frites ...L'accueil souriant sympathique avec en bruit de fond la chef en cuisine qui était mécontente et gueuler2 ententrecotes frites salade 16€ l'assiette copieuse ,1 sandwich américain 9€ sans assiette ?Très décevant,frites trop cuites voir pas bonnes,entrecôte avec un drôle de gout ,viande un peu sèche,la salade était bonne .C'est dommage notre visite au château avait bien commence, le repas avec ce cadre aurait pu etre un sans faute ,on a pas voulu dire que ce n'n'était pas bon vu l'humeur de la chef .. mais comment un restaurateur peu servir des clients avec un tel manque de respect de la cuisine avec des prix pareils. (ou est gordon ramsay ....)Bref 50€ avec un coca ,1/4 rose,un café . Pour 50€ on aurait du aller au snack a côté qui vendait des pains bagnats super bon et frais a 6€ ,donc continuez et testez.François B"

"I would like to have given this restaurant a higher rating because of the beautiful location, but unfortunately there were some problems. We tried to eat here our first night in Les Baux, but were turned away because we had no reservations, although... the outdoor restaurant was 3/4 empty and it was late enough that dinner was over the evening. We reserved for the next night. We had a table outside what we wanted. The view is exquisite, view of the castle, the green is beautiful, the environment is quiet and peaceful. The food was pretty good, but unfortunately the service was not and that put a steamer on the meal. Maybe the waiter (there was only one) had a bad night, but even though he was a rather nice guy, he messed up our order so badly that it really did on an unfavorable experience. We served not only the food we did not order, but when we tried to clarify things (I have food allergies, so could not eat what was given to me, not what I ordered), we landed on getting our food at 3 different times, so each one of us ate alone while the other two saw. Even this we could have accepted/forgiving, but the waiter never realized his confusion and, instead of clarifying the order, he decided to frighten and ignore us (he had someone else who supplies the plates to the table). Next time, it would be better to admit that he forgot what we ordered and just ask us to clarify. We were very polite, so there was no reason to ask ourselves."
