"Thought id try this place as not been for years and my friend had never been. We found a table and ordered are drinks and food using the app both deciding on the steak and philly wrap mine being med rare and mates medium well. Not a long wait at all till a lovely lady called Becky bought are meals we asked wich was which and to my friends disappointment hers had been done medium rear as well but was prepaid to try it and if struggling to return it which we did Becky was very appoligetic and bought a fresh one out. We also want to thank the chef Peter for being so understanding I even told the manager about are experience with Becky. WILL BE BACK"

"Visited Foxglove many times, but it had been a while and this time we had a two year old in tow. The place was relatively quiet, which is always a bonus in our books as we prefer it that way and we managed to be situated at the far end in a booth which was nice. The menu had changed a bit, and I decided to opt for something I 'd not had there before which was the Chilli Con Carne. My partner had the Pulled Pork Burger and my son had the Cheese and Tomato Tagliatelle from the kids menu. My dish was delicious and is something I would definitely order again. My partners burger was a bit greasy in the top where they had placed two onion rings and the bacon in the middle he said could have been a bit more well done as it was still relatively pink. However, other than that we both enjoyed our meals. We also ordered a side of Hallumi Fries and Cheesy Garlic Ciabatta. Staff were all welcoming and friendly, as usual particularly the young lad behind the bar serving drinks. When my partner complained about his bacon, the server just responded with Oh sorry, is that everything? and then walked away which I didn 't feel was sincere but alas, it was just bacon I suppose. Always lovely food and atmosphere though, and everything comes well presented."

"Always enjoy going to Lucy's cafe. The staff are friendly. Food is delicious. In my view Lucy's cafe is the best independent cafe in Mansfield town centre. Good location. They have won local business awards on a handful of occasions over the last 10 years."

"We randomly decided to pop in for some food after some Christmas shopping and wow I'm so glad we did. It was the first time we'd eaten at a Chiquito restaurant and were spoilt for choice as it all sounded so good. We decided to go for one of the sharing platters so we could try a few different things. Service was great, we weren't waiting around long at all and the food was incredible. There were two mini burritos which were packed with the filling, so good! Three pulled pork tacos, even better! And four chicken quesadillas... to die for! Oh and a pot each of sour cream and salsa. Everything was so flavoursome and filled us up nicely. Even though I was struggling with the last couple of bits I could not stop eating. I'm now thinking of an excuse to go back again!"

"I remember this place having reasonable prices, but that's not the case anymore. Charging £4.50 for a Stella when you can get it for £3.80 at The Swan and £3.19 at Wetherspoons? It's no surprise it was empty on a Friday night! I would have rated it one star, but I gave it an extra star for the good music."

"Wow! What a pleasant surprise! Beautiful woodburner on, which was a welcome addition on a cold day. The pizza has to be one of the best in Mansfield, incredible base, sauce and cooked perfectly with the most incredible garlic dip. My husband had ribs and said they were fantastic quality and tasted beautiful. Portions were good sizes. Place was clean, quiet and cozy. Service was good. Thank you so much! We will be back!"

"Visited after the stags match and before a night out. It was busy as the other spoons around the corner has shut. You'd think there'd be more staff behind the bar as it was busy. Took ages to get served. We had food and drinks ordered through the app after. It wasn't long before the drinks arrived, the food wasn't long after. We both had scampi and chips with a side order of onion rings. Both were good as usual. The lack of service may put me off going again."

"Visited here for Sunday Dinner for 6 people, I Would recommend pre booking a table as it was quite busy. Half of the party ordered beef dinner one of which was a child’s meal (half adult portion) the other half ordered the 3 meat combo consisting of chicken breast, beef and pork chop. The food arrived very quick, it was warm not hot. I would of liked to of seen condiments on the table prior to food arriving as we had to ask for them once the food arrived as the staff member did not ask if we wanted any. One of our party ordered their dinner without gravy and it came with gravy so that was sent back and immediately a dinner came out without gravy. The beef on the meals was ok, tasted delicious but very chewy, (the child in our party could not eat it as was too chewy) also it would of been nice to of been given the option to have the beef either pink or well done. The pork chop and the chicken on the meat combos was amazing and the size of the chop was unbelievable. All veg was served on your plate a suggestion might be to serve the meat, mash, roasted potatoes and stuffing on the plate then have a dish with vegetables brought separately so people can help themselves to the preferred vegetables as some vegetables were left on plates as people didn’t like that certain vegetable. The vegetables were very hard and only just cooked, a few of the party members have said they would of preferred the veg cooked a little bit more. The staff were very polite and courteous but during our meal we had four different staff members attend to us which was no problem but there became confusion as to what staff member had already asked us for example we got asked twice about desserts. (suggestion maybe have one or two staff members allocated to two/three different tables and focus on those tables)"

"Ordered breakfast via just eat. No issues with just eat but… The store sent the wrong order received a bacon roll not a breakfast roll. I raised the issue on line with just eat and the online automated response advised I needed to call the store. I called the store to inform them with an expectation that this would be rectified . I spoke to Steven who can only be described as rude and unhelpful. Initially taking the call in a very noisy area and telling me to repeat myself as he couldn’t hear me , he eventually realised that if he moved to a quieter area he could then have a conversation with me ! He told me that I had to phone just eat to request a refund. My point was that I didn’t want a refund, I wanted the correct order. He insisted I had to call just eat. I asked why I had to do this when it was the stores error not mine, his retort was ‘ well I can’t just bring you one myself!’ At this point I asked to speak to the manager , only for Steven to inform me that he was the manager!! I again tried to explain that I just wanted the correct meal, he reiterated there was nothing he could do unless I wanted to call into store and collect the correct item ! Despite my pointing out that I had ordered a delivery which would suggest there is a reason I didn’t go to the store in the first instance , in my case I do not drive and he again informed me there was nothing he could do and put the phone down on me."

"We returned to this restaurant for a second time and found it pleasantly quiet for a Sunday evening. The atmosphere was calm, thanks to the lack of crowds. The staff were courteous and friendly, providing good service. We both chose the salmon fillet for our meal. While the portions were on the smaller side, we’re fine with that as we’re trying to cut back on calories. However, without a discount voucher, we wouldn’t choose to dine here again, as the prices feel too high for the portion sizes. They might want to consider offering different plate sizes—small, medium, and large—so diners can pay extra for a larger meal if they prefer. We shared a bottle of house red wine, which we found quite enjoyable. Thankfully, there were no loud birthday celebrations during our visit."
