The Foxglove - Speisekarte

The food at this restaurant was hot, fresh, and very delicious. There was minimal wait time and the service was excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the children's menu was also excellent.

I came for the through the decades party night with friends, the 3 course Christmas meal was fantastic, there was a great atmosphere and the girls singing were brilliant. You can always guarantee a great night at the foxglove.

We normally visit frequently at tea time but popped in for lunch to find the meal very disappointing. The club sandwich had 2 small scraps of bacon and 2 very small bits of chicken. The rest was lettuce and tomato. The pot of chips is getting very small. For nearly 9.00 a meal we won't be repeating this in future Speisekarte ansehen

Service was extremely slow, we’d been there an hour before mains turned up, we didn’t bother with dessert as no one came to take our order after waiting 30 minutes, so paid and left. We had to find a staff member to order mains and drinks. I understand it’s Christmas week but never had such poor service, also didn’t have my first choice of main course, already limited due to being gluten free

The Foxglove is quite close to us and has always been a lovely place to eat. However, since the pandemic there have been changes and these are mainly the prices. The rotisserie chicken is no longer available and the menu has changed. That having been said the food is still very good. When we visited we both had the fish and chips and it was superb. Honestly, really, really great!! Recommended.

We had a wonderful time with friends at The Foxglove! We hired their Garden Room as there were over 40 of us meeting for food and drinks. The food was great and the staff all lovely and very accommodating. It really is a fantastic venue and would highly recommend. It’s a lovely place to pop for a drink and a meal and has the added bonus of being able to cater for larger parties in the Garden Room. Thank you to Tony and all staff. We’ll definitely be back! We went to this restaurant for our Christmas office party. We paid for a 3-course meal and there was a live band playing. The value for money was excellent, as we also received a glass of prosecco upon arrival. The food was outstanding, it was the best meal I've had at a work event. The portion sizes were generous and the quality of the food was incredible. I was particularly impressed with the homemade Yorkshire pudding. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.

Our last meal at this restaurant was just okay, and we used to come here once a week. Tonight, we ordered two sirloin steaks which were tough. My steak was so tough that I couldn't even cut it with a steak knife! I sent it back and the second steak was better, but still not great. The final bill came to £72 including drinks and desserts, which were decent. At this point, we were trying to salvage a good night. We won't be returning again, as £72 is more than a week's worth of groceries!

We visit this restaurant regularly and are always interested in other people’s reviews. What I can say is that over a period of time, this particular restaurant is consistently good value for money. Their Sunday dinners are excellent, their servers are well drilled in customer service, their bar manager has exceptional knowledge in cellar management and overall, the general management of this restaurant is better than most other managed houses. As a regular visitor, I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Speisekarte ansehen
