"We have eaten twice this week in this restaurant. The first time we ate by the sea, it was very pleasant. The sangria was good. We all took pizzas that were delicious, good products, well-stocked. The waitress was friendly. the only flat of this meal is the shotamisu not top, rather dry, but otherwise nothing to say. The second time we were inside the front of the bar. Nice too. We ordered mojitos. They were unbreakable unless you really like the rum. very strong and to see the head of the people around, they were too much backed for everyone. the lady in front of us doesn't even drink it. has 10€ the mojito. In a dish, mussels, the caesar salad is very good. the whole octopus at 26€ is frankly light, not a lot of accompaniments and the risotto of the suggestion does not really look like a risotto and there were 2 shrimps fighting in duel. much too much rice and not many other products. We felt like we weren't in the same restaurant the day before. We've been offered a rum arranged, pretty nice. desserts, iced cuts very well and huge, well presented. on the other hand, I am offered a gourmet coffee and, great disappointment, I am brought back a plate with plenty of dessert but no coffee.!? so I think more about a "goddy plate" than a "goddy coffee." short desserts, tiramisu still not crazy, a brownie and a cream burnt not too bad, a panacota with strawberry syrup or I don't know anything about it brief what disappointment starting from last night while the day before we were delighted. We will only be for pizzas there are no worries, that desserts are not their specialty and prefer a sangria to a mojito.!"

"The Dolce Vita deserves special mention here in the pages of Trip Advisor, on account of it single handedly re calibrating my sense of of what constitutes good and bad service in a decade of regular visits to France. La Dolce Vita in Menton struck a new low, that I have every reason to believe will be hard to match.French waiters are of course known worldwide for being a surly and recalcitrant lot, especially where foreign tourists are concerned. For the most part they are undeserving of such a reputation, and are in fact friendly and helpful. Bearing this in mind though, I am always cordial, polite, and will always attempt in my most pigeon like French to ask for a table and make my order. Today's visit though, barely even got that far. When I asked for a table to two, I was begrudgingly waved in the direction of a half dozen tables. I duly took a seat with my wife, per used the menu, and was then studiously ignored for the next 20 minutes. The staff, of which there must have been almost a dozen on duty, all very deliberately avoided making any eye contact whatsoever. After 20 minutes of being ignored, I left. I haven't experienced behaviour this childish since I was in primary school, and yet here it was in a supposedly "nice" restaurant on the beach on the French Riviera. To say I was angry would be an understatement. To avoid this kind of "service" for yourself, go absolutely anywhere else in the entire nation of France, and you will easily exceed the levels of friendliness shown at Le Dolce Vita..."
