"Why is this place not no. 1 in Bologna on trip advisor? This would have to be my favourite dinning experience in Italy! Warm welcome, quality bottles of wine/ beer, home made warm breads, flavour bursting food. Recommendations- Mix of antipasti; salami cuts, cheese, house made bruschetta and honey. This ain 't your ordinary italian cheese and salami tray- high quality and flavours your tongue has never imagined. 1st plate- homemade tortellini Tartuffe (best I 've ever had), also the carbonara with mushroom. 2nd- Angus beef steak, sliced and served with rosemary. Get the house thin cut, oven backed chips. YUM... Also a side of grilled veg, they use garlic and yummy flavourings to spice them up. The first I 've seen in italy, it 's normally chat grilled veg with oil. MOST IMPORTANT- dessert. I had the ameretti cake with chocolate chips and a dollop of house made marscapone cream, dusted in chocolate. I will drive the three hours from my home to eat this weekly.
