"Hier, Jeudi 10 août 2017, nous sommes accueilli dans ce restaurant à première vue très sympa, par une femme qui nous installe sur une table en milieu de salle, en plein dans le passage des clients et autres serveurs du restaurant. Mis à part quelques coups de coude distribués au passage par les employés ou les enfants qui courent aux sanitaires en hurlant, tout se déroule correctement pour l'apéritif. Puis vient le moment des plats. Après une courte attente, une serveuse arrive avec ce que je pensais être les assiettes de crudités qui complètent la raclette commandée. En attendant le fromage ainsi que les pommes de terres et le plat de charcuterie, je décide pour patienter, de goûter une grosse tranche de concombre arrosée de vinaigrette au milieu de mon assiette. Fourchette levée, plus que quelques centimètres pour atteindre la fameuse rondelle, quand soudain... Un serveur à l'accent douteux arrache les deux assiettes de la table, l'air énervé, et les apporte sur une table voisine ! Surpris, et légèrement agacé, je me retourne pour lui demander des explications, celui ci me répondra alors que ce n'est pas "mes affaires", puis sans plus d'explications (ni excuses), il retourne à son travail... Nos plats arrivent alors 10 minutes plus tard, et, n'ayant ni la force ni l'envie de les manger, je quitte le restaurant après avoir payé le plein tarif, le geste commercial n'étant sûrement pas prévu, tant les patrons doivent êtres convaincus qu'ils proposent une cuisine et un service d'exception... Bref, restaurant à éviter pour une soirée en amoureux, serveurs ne pratiquants que rarement la langue française, service nul, un massacre !"

"Nous avions choisi de passer un agréable dernier moment sur la station et pour cela nous avons opté pour le restaurant Les Enfants Terribles. Peu connaisseurs, nous avons d'abord appelé pour quelques conseils et avons été reçus comme des princes par Christopher le réceptionniste qui nous a vivement conseillé ce restaurant plutôt que celui du bas trop traditionnel à mon goût. Je dois avouer que sa description du restaurant m'a fait véritablement saliver bien que les précédents avis n'aient pas vraiment joué en la faveur du restaurant. Nous nous sommes donc rendus dans cet établissement de prestige qui a su garder au fil des années tout son charme d'antan qui vous fait revivre les années de gloire d'Avoriaz. La personne qui nous a accueilli, Etienne, a été plus que charmante et ses quelques anecdotes sur la construction de l'hôtel ont été plus qu'instructives et je l'en remercie grandement. La cuisine est vraiment de qualité, on ne nous avait pas menti sur ce point. Le ceviche et les saint Jacques sont à tomber réellement, les desserts sont exceptionnels et la variété de la carte vous laisse rêveur un instant. Seul bémol et non des moindre, il semble que l'ambiance parmi les équipes du restaurant ne soit pas au beau fixe... Rageant quand vous souhaitez passer une bonne soirée et que certains serveurs, l'un d'eux semblait même être le responsable, tire la tronche toute la soirée... Vraiment à conseiller mais uniquement quand les serveurs sont biens lunés. Mention spéciale à Christopher et Etienne qui vous accueillent avec un grand cœur et passion pour cet hôtel qui est somme toute exceptionnel !"
