"This British-owned hotel restaurant has a wide variety of vegan options. I prefer their wraps above the rest of their options for price/quality value. However, be sure to ask for it WITHOUT their coleslaw as it is not vegan (yet they still serve it with a vegan wrap). They also have 2 burgers, salads, a chili, sweet potato/regular fries or potato wedges, and guac/chips. The building will however be demolished in July 2018 and no word for now on the vegan-friendly-ness of the new owners. Around 10-16 euros for the main dishes."

"Great place to stop by Falaise area Ask for the day specialty, we had a fabulous deer stew with a nice red wine Cote du Rhône recommended by the lovely manager. Look also for homemade dessert, they usually have nice pies."

"we have booked as a group of 6 for dinner. we had a great table at the front window, open to the road, because of the heat. all foods were excellent, starting with common tapas tellers of meat and seafood. some had the choice of cooking plates of meat. others had the filet of bark meat and they had the trout. all were good portions with a lot of vegetables. we finished with a selection of ice and coffee. good value for money and friendly, efficient service."

"I was expecting a fabulous experience when going to eat at the Hôtel des Dromonts. 4 tables taken and 3 encountered problems...a fondue machine that does not work on one, a dish served 10 minutes after the others on the other and concerning me, a dish served incomplete (not the accompaniment of the hot box , the bread that arrives after my wife has almost finished her dish. The prices are not much more expensive than in the resort center but given the few customers, I expected impeccable service...this was not the case I won't go back..."

"I went for a meal at le petit coq with my mum, sister and nieces. The restaurant is very cosy and there are outside tables for the summer evenings with lovely views of the mountains. The waiting staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of reasonably priced home cooked food. There are some Asian inspired choices which makes a lovely change from the standard options of pizza and burger in most other local restaurants! The desert was delicious and the coffee a lovely end to the evening. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant!!"

"I’m not sure if this hotel has changed ownership since the last reviews but our experience was not great at all. I paid €300 for 2 nights, thinking we would at the very least, get breakfast included. Not so! The room was not very big and had a double and single bed for me and my two teenage children. Although the room wasn’t particularly dirty, there was a musty smell that wasn’t pleasant. The staff in the bar did not speak very good English, which is fine but not what has been commented on in previous reviews. We opted to eat elsewhere as we didn’t really feel comfortable in the dining area. On the first night (Thursday), there was a very loud and very bad karaoke going on, which kept us awake until late. On the Friday night there was a loud band on. All of this could be heard very clearly in our room. I think the owners need to decide whether they are running a bar or a hotel and people need to be warned that this is not a suitable place for families. On checkout, I then found out that I had to pay and extra €8.40 in tourist tax. **** cheek! We could wait to get out of there and will definitely not be returning."

"It's hard to find gluten free and vegan in France! I was relieved to find satellite to fuel our downhill sessions, we had good coffee and fruit smoothie potato hash breakfast plate and edamame beetroot sandwich. delicious flavours and great attention to texture too. A little on the pricey side but nothing too crazy for the area. We were verypleased to be able to eat something, that was delicious as well!"

"This bar and restaurant is fabulous! Lovely cosy boutique style decor, fun staff and a lively (but not rowdy) atmosphere. Good choice of beers, wines and cocktails. (It's English owned by RudeChalets who also own the nightclub below, which we didn't try but my daughter frequented regularly)The bar area has a log fire for chillier days, a soft leather sofa and chairs with comfy cushions and fur throws. The restaurant was outstanding. We ordered a filet steak, honey and garlic chicken wings and 2 of us had the sticky rack of ribs. It was all very good ingredients, perfectly cooked. The ribs were delicious - loads of meat just falling off the bone. Highly recommended! The sides were delicious too - fabulous potato (or sweet potato) wedge chips which were crispy and baked in fresh crushed garlic cloves, herbs and sea salt. My daughter's chicken wings also came with a melted Camembert dip which was divine! We couldn't manage pudding after demolishing our delicious mains - but ones on other tables looked so good.We would highly recommend you try this lovely place - just at the beginning of the road out of town (as if you're going in Prodaines direction)"

"Having been visiting Morzine for many years, we stumbled across this place this week by approaching it from the back (the snowy grassy hill just next to the Pleney bubble lift the ESF baby ski zone). From the front it looks just like a ski shop, but at the back there is a lovely cafe area in a sort of large hard plastic 'pod ' or dome, leading out to a terrace which is right on the piste front for the beginners lift Mas Verjus and the sledging area. Food burgers, bruschetta (like a giant single layer croque monsieur), pasta and a good value E10 kids menu. Food was delicious, frites fab, and the service was super lovely our waiter was so friendly with our kids. This is a fabulous place for a family, we could sit out on the terrace and watch while the kids went up and down the sledge run for an hour, and inside there 's a small play area with a few games and books to keep them busy too. We will definitely be back, hopefully when there 's more snow and we can ski to the door!"

"This is the bar/tavern of Hotel La Samoyede, which contains Restaurant L'Atelier (which is closed in summer, sadly for us).The menu is relatively simple but the dishes are excellent - fresh ingredients, expertly cooked, with minimal fussiness. Highlights include the pea soup and rillette of fera (a local freshwater fish), and the fish and the pork main courses. There are also simpler options like croque monsieur. The desserts are superb (mmm, pannacotta :-).The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced (as far as I can tell, not being French). They also have quite a few half bottle, which suited my wife and I perfectly. And they have a big selection of spirits if that's your thing. They have a real coffee machine and the staff know how to use it - excellent. The service was excellent - very friendly and helpful."

"I went here on a Saturday with a small group of friends to take a lunch break from skiing. We sat down around 12:30 and there was plenty of room. Our waitress was quick to assist us and our food came quickly. The food, however, was very mediocre. I ordered the Chanterelles mushroom pasta and it was practically flavorless. Whatever flavor it did have was not good; it could have used some salt perhaps but there was none at the table. The best way I can describe it is ramen noodles without flavoring.Everyone else at my table ordered a pizza. The pizzas were about the size of a plate and very thin, so easily finished by one person. No one in my group had an especially good pizza, they all found their food very average as well. Overall, not great quality for a very high price. In addition, there was "no tap water available" so we ended up paying 7 Euro for 1 Liter bottles to split. I also ordered the hot chocolate for 3.90 Euro which was also quite average.By the time we finished (around 2pm), the restaurant had filled up quite a bit and it took a while to hail our waitress to give us the check. I ended up not finishing my pasta at all. I cannot recommend this place unfortunately, the price is just too high for not-so-great food. Next time, I'll bring my own lunch."

"Madame runs a tight ship and works hard to honor reservations, find tables for both groups and individuals, despite it being very crowded at lunch time. The waiters and servers are very friendly, dynamic and efficient, without giving the impression that they would like your table. English spoken, too. Food is typical ski-fare - excellent (hot and tasty) soup, outstanding pancakes. Just the place to dine and bask in the sun between ski runs. Well situated for returning to La Mossette or Avoriaz on the télésiège des Brochaux."

"We visited here a few days ago as a party of five to celebrate my husbands birthday. There was a great atmosphere and the restaurant was warm and cosy. We appreciated that there was somewhere to store our snowboards too.The only reason I am giving this place 4 and not 5 stars is because they forgot to box my nephews pizza up, even though we asked and the soup portions were way too big. I'm really glad we found this place. A lot of menus in this region all seem to be the same but this place had a few different things to choose from which was a welcome relief. Most of us went for the beef skewer and the calamari which were delicious."
