"We went to eat at the bebelle's attracted to the view. We were attracted to the bebelle show but I guess it would be on vacation because we didn't see it and no one used the megaphone to order meat at the adjacent stops. "the halls in narbonne are worth a visit: large stands of fresh fruit and vegetables, all kinds of food and cans. a good taste of narbonne and the south of france! the most notable is the tradition of small informal restaurants where grilled meat (literally butchers nearby) or fresh oysters can be found. our favorite place is "the ant", a pretty bar-grill and a restaurant belonging to a family of joyful rugby veterans. It is here that you can take a drink, beef pins or a steak tartare (beef or horse), or a beautiful piece of grilled beef. every time we go to ant with our good friend from the corner Jean-Pierre, we spend a good time, it is a good value for money and we appreciate the humor and friendship of michel, thomas and the rest of the charming band. It's just awesome! ps. nice surprise, ant has just started a "satellite antenna" outside the market square (small outdoor terrace) in 2016. To try."

"we went there last night with family so 2 adults 1 boy 16 1/2 and one girl 19. quite disappointed because this setting is magnificent and the orgy of food and choice is impressive but it is true that some dishes are "without flavor." "The restaurant "La manufacture des Karantes" was the heart of my day stay in Narbonne-Plage. atypical in its cozy setting and unlike the majority of other restaurants with their endless menus which sadly prespend frozen and/or "micronized" products the factory offers fresh products in a very short, but very successful card. no more or home dishes including burgers. all this divinely elaborated. I chose the karantes burger and I really enjoyed myself. I am a real burgers amateur and I have often had the experience of the rather classic burgers who sometimes have the same taste. Here it wasn’t the case, I was very pleasantly surprised by the taste of each item proposed in the burger: chutney that brings softness with a very light cinnamon taste, nuts that give crisp, zucchini tagliatelles that bring marrow, confit oignions, tomatoes, pickles, coppa and county have made that cegering homemade fries and a pretty salad not decorative, as often happens, but made with as much care and taste as the rest) have completed the dish. The selection of local wines must also be highlighted. a pretty red "The slap of the estate The Angel (syrah, grenache, carignan) fruity and relatively light contributed to the perfect deal with my delicious dish. In short, without pretension, without chichi, a very warm and human service and very good dishes, these two professional artists: alexia (sculpator) and jean paul (photographer) have been able to make this address one of the prettiest I visited in Narbonne-Plage. "Read the reviews but ended up picking here primarily down to the fact that it was 10 metres from our AirBnb after a long day of sightseeing. Well, all I can say is Wow, were we glad we decided to be lazy. Service was top class: attentive without being overbearing. But the food? Each dish was superb. The menu is kinda designed to share so myself and my wife chose 5 dishes between us, which was a bit greedy but so worth it.as they were all incredible. Any time I see ceviche on a menu I go for it and this was delicious. The beetroot humous was so good, but perhaps could have benefited from more pickled fruit (onion and radish). The duck cannelloni was bursting with rich flavours, and being Irish, we added two potato dishes: the croquettes with ham were amongst the best I have ever had but the Patatas de Marius, their take on patatas bravas, were nothing short of magnificent, shot through with prosciutto and a ridiculously good sauce. Even the kids menu of chicken and chips was cooked with love and aeons ahead of the usual stuff handed to our smallies. The desserts were also fabulous we tried a few with the cafe gourmand (tiramisu, brownie and creme brulee), and the best coffee we had in Narbonne. A meal that single handedly restored my faith in French restaurants. Bravo"

"Suite à une balade très agréable à Narbonne,c'est par hasard que nous nous sommes posés pour déjeuner le midi.Cuisine simple et goûteuse comme on aime,avec un plat du jour et un dessert pour ceux qui n'ont pas trouver leur bonheur sur la carte.Rapport qualité/prix correct.Il y a le côté très sympa de ce bar- bistronomique où viennent manger et prendre un verre toute génération confondue dans un très jolie cadre près du canal. "Since the time (I'm ashamed) that I wanted to test this brewery and that I had (I don't know why) in mind that it was out of price... Like what everybody's wrong!Blessed I went to lunch in this brewery and I went out delighted! From his reception first, where these ladies are very smiling and welcoming. Then, of course, by the kitchen. We had taken a tapas plate to share (5€50) where these 4 puts in the mouth were enough to wait until the dish. a small toast of poellated foie gras, a little shrimp, a little ham, then artichoke with parmesan, perfect small toasts to make the apero!The wine with pichet was also very good for the price! (5€50 the 50cl)The delicious dishes: a gamba risotto with parmesan(15 yes 16€), and seiches with planxa accompanied by a risotto and small aioli that goes well (16€)...Hummmmmmmm in addition they are beautifully presented!Can more end of meal with the coffee, you'll be accompanied by a cup of a small pot of chocolate mousse!"

"We stopped in this restaurant to take a glass of wine in the evening and were so impressed by the staff who interrupted their dinner to serve us that we returned later for dinner. We started with a generous and delicious fatty liver scalope. My wife took the salmon and I had the scallops - both were excellent. we asked for a local white wine and loved the recommended chardonnay. We finished with a tiramisu and a chocolate mousse, which were also very good. the service was friendly and efficient. the owner joined us at the end and after talking during c. 10 minutes thanked us for coming. We're coming back with pleasure."

"They're the basics of French here. the magret is charming and the burgers also home, which seem to have arrived everywhere in france as well now. "I went to the family in late May. The food was uneven: less than the average wither and better than the average cassoulet, not surprising however. The wine was very good.The desserts were worth it: a chocolate melt. the patron saint/server, coming from Corsica: they took over the restaurant about 5 months ago and are still working as it seems, it is also reflected in the waiting time: lunch lasted almost 2 hours. So, in a word, it's not a bad place to go, but either they improve the quality of their food, or they lower the price, otherwise I don't see this restaurant survive more than a few years thanks to its previous reputation. Welcome, it's really a major point in your favor! ps: I forgot to add that when they asked questions about food and we told them that garbage was not very tasty, they offered us to replace the dish with something more to our taste, but we refused. "we went to this restaurant several times and tried different menus and the "à la carte". the choice on the menu is quite large, perhaps not as much as in the more traditional Indian restaurants out of france but quite complete for most. the "menu dejeuner" at 14,90 is a good deal because it offers 3 dishes with a certain number of choices. Nan breads are particularly pleasant, even if they are a little smaller than some found in the UK. main dishes include choices of chicken, lamb, beef and vegetables with various sauces - there are also biryani that are served in a single dish. the heat of the chili is available in the option madras if that is what you want, but the mix of spices in all dishes offer balanced and tasty food. the tikka and sheekh chicken skewers we had were well cooked and the portions more than enough. the decor is attractive and comfortable seats and there are several small areas that are divided into cabins. in total, an excellent restaurant serving a different cuisine from most local restaurants. Not to be missed if you love Indian cuisine."

"this restaurant is located by the river/channel and is located in a shopping area. You can sit outside in an area surrounded by a kind of awning. There is also an outdoor heating, but today there was too much wind for us and so we chose to go inside. At lunch time, the restaurant is small but I could see a much larger area on the side and I think it is open at night (but not sure). I ordered the meal at 15 € and my husband ordered the meal at 22 €. I had roast cheese and salad in the hall. The cheese was tiny and the salad was pretty large. My main dish was chicken in a muchroom sauce with fries. It was very good and well cooked. For dessert, I had a red juice pannacotta and it was delicious. My husband has salmon in the lobby and a steak. We both enjoyed our meals. the drinks were correct but we had only soft drinks and water. the only negative point was that the service was a little slow but to be honest, it only seemed to me two people who were running the place. The price was responsible, too. Overall, it was good."

The patrons of this establishment only favour their usual knowledge, as well as being antipathic with tourists like us who came to discover this restaurant specialized in seafood. We made an appointment the day before for dinner, this hotel only works on reservation. Our waiting was more than 3/4 an hour to take the order. We were the first to arrive and to be installed. The boss preferred to take the orders of all her usual customers who arrived after us as we went on, or 5 tables occupied by the customers who had just arrived after us, so a total of 6 table occupied with our. Unfortunately for us, we were always waiting for us to take the order, we had not even offered the wine list. When it was finally decided to come to us to take our order, it had an antipathic, anti-marketing, condescending and despising behavior. We felt like we were disturbing her and not welcome! We were not very hungry tonight, we wanted to share only a dozen oysters, with some shrimps and jobs. But she insisted on choosing a second dish if we stayed with a little hunger. We told him that we will see this later if we remain hungry. To our great stunt, she explained to us that the orders are all taken at the same time and that it is impossible to order something else afterwards if not at the moment when it takes command. "this restaurant offers a compact but quiet street charm next to an antique lounge interior with a fireplace fire in the back. At the end of July, the restaurant was not full to crack because the main tourist season had not yet started, and although we made a reservation on a hot Friday night, people came to the street to book a table. the menu is not huge - no need to be it - and we have contented with the selection of tapas-style toasts, including a plate of aluminum paper and seiches/siches at barbecue, both accompanied by a healthy salad. the seiches were mellow and tasty, with a spoonful of rust to anoint. the dishes offered included huge steaks, salmon, spiders or, as we have chosen, dorade/daurade. accompanied by a reduction of fish broth/cream poured on rice with anth, the fish was perfectly cooked and watered with a good bottle or two rose, of which about ten were chosen. all the wines seemed to be of good value for money. a tatin pie sprinkled with an excellent calvados (on the house - thank you!) has completed a pleasant evening. you can easily eat a 3-course dinner, with wine here for 35 to 40 € per person. excellent value for money and return before the end of the holiday. a large part of the old furniture inside is offered for sale and a small coat rack has been given to a buyer while we finish the dinner."

"we were looking for a place a little quieter than the square and this place is next to the river but at the limit of the center - and it was not a market day! good service, excellent roquefort salad (salade monfort), the omelette was very good and ringard and the cake was good too, but the desserts were excellent! the gourmet (a mix of desserts with a coffee) was correct but the chocolate pudding was exactly the same as my mother was doing 40 years ago so I would recommend it! "We read on the Internet about the Chez Bebelle show and wanted to experience it. It's a worthwhile experience, it's a fun place, with a great market atmosphere and excellent food. "We arrived at the restaurant and the lady that greeted us, cleaned our table with a smelly rag. That was pretty unpleasant. We asked for wine and only received about 10 cl, much less than we expected. They completely burned the bun for the burger. The roll was black inside. Also, we noticed that the size of the burger was quite small compared to other patrons that ordered burgers too. Almost half the size. We had to struggle to get a basket of bread for the table like everyone else receives. My Caesar salad had a strange dressing, not much chicken and no croutons as mentioned on the menu. We are not sure if we got unlucky with this restaurant today or what."
