"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant when ordering a burger to share. The food was delicious and priced at £9.95. The Tex-Mex dish was overwhelming and we had to leave some, as we were not expecting such a large portion. The staff member was very helpful. This was our first time visiting, but we would definitely return in the future. Overall, everything from start to finish was excellent."

"We found this place whilst staying in Felton for the week. Was so good we visited three times throughout our stay. Family and dog friendly, the staff were attentive, helpful and so good with our 5 year old. Excellent venue with the play area outside. Homemade wholesome food, made our way through the menu with toasties, quiche, and the soup was so good. The cakes are unreal, traybakes tasty and the cream scone outstanding. Doggie and kids menu are both brilliant. Cannot fault this place. Finished our week off with breakfast before heading up the road, full English tasty and the pancakes fresh. The wait for the food is because its obviously made to order. Recommend booking a table at peak times. We'll be back, thank you."

"Ate here on Sunday evening, as not much else available. Booked table wasn't ready at time booked Fish and chips long black hair cooked into batter on fish. Replaced, more batter than fish. Sirloin and veg. Sirloin was tough and couldn't have had a thinner slice. Don't pay £1 more for this. Front of house staff were OK, and did remove the cost of fish and chips from bill."

"My family and I visited Mandarin Bay on Sunday night. Unbeknownst to us there was an all you can eat menu available, which we chose. The starters were either self service or served directly from the kitchen. This meant the soups and crispy wantons from the kitchen were fresh and piping hot. There was a very good main course menu and the service was extremely efficient. I did find the black bean sauce was too salty and the lemon chicken was served with the sauce poured over the chicken instead of on the side but overall it was delicious. We will definitely be going there again."

"Earlier this year, we relocated to the area and have since sampled all of the nearby Indian restaurants. Following a recommendation at a local pub, we decided to order a takeaway from Red Naga tonight. The online ordering process was simple and efficient. We selected a delivery time of 7pm and the driver arrived a few minutes early, providing excellent service. The food was delicious and flavorful. We highly recommend Red Naga and will certainly be ordering from them again."

"Called in yesterday Monday 24th and ordered the Roast of the Day (Beef) if I could have IAver would have licked my plate everything was done to perfection the horseradish sauce was mind blowing what a hit to the nostrils to complete the meal and we were already full we ordered the Red Velvet Cheesecake Simply the best We have had many meals here (not a regular) and have never given a review but we should have as we have never been disappointed in the quality of the food and service Well Done!!! and thanks"

"Called in here for first time after consulting TripAdvisor for a pub lunch whilst driving across Northumberland from Bamburgh to Otterburn. Nice clean pub with friendly service and good pub grub. We both had the 'roast of the day ' which was pork and it was presented well and tasted lovely. Was good value. The venue is dog friendly and also has a nice beer garden. Will defo return if we 're in the area and highly recommend it to others."

"We had our eye on this place after walking past at the weekend and it was full. We were on holiday for a week so popped in later as a walk in on a Wednesday early dinner. The staff were really welcoming and kind to our kids. Service was fast. We chose some mild curries and a chicken goujons dinner. We ordered suitable stuff for the kids off the adult menu and they were fine with us sharing dishes. Both our primary school age kids hoovered it all up and had a great time. The restaurant was relaxed and pleasant for families. Great food. Our son particularly liked the peshwari naan and I’ve never seen our daughter shovel away so much korma chicken. All very reasonably priced. Great Curry place would recommend for families on holiday."

"Was really looking forward to spoiling ourselves when we visited Scott's today, as we had heard and read sooooo much about how good it is. We treated ourselves to Ham Chicken pie, Chocolate Brownie and 2 Portuguese Tarts. On getting home, the pie was...extremely dry. The Chocolate Brownie was ok but nothing special, but the Portuguese Tarts were dreadful!!!! They tasted like they had been made with Lard the custard was yukkie and thick, not a patch on M S, in fact the other one ended up in the bin!!! Ok we know it's still Winter, but with all the hype about this place surely they could do better than this!?!?! So to sum up in one word about this place Disappointed "

"It seems like this restaurant has changed ownership, as the food and service tonight were nowhere near the quality I remembered from my last visit. Part of my order was missing and the rest was practically inedible. When I called to inform them, I was kept on the phone by someone who seemed young, and the second person I spoke to showed no concern at all. "After a late arrival in the town on a wet windy night we headed out dogs in tow to find food. The Black Swan was at the bottom of the road so we called in to see if there was a table. There was we were warned we may have to wait for food 40mins we did but it was worth it! Honestly the tastiest food I have eaten in a long while. The seafood curry was to die for as was my husbands dish of belly pork. Desserts also amazing. The staff were super friendly and very tolerant of our Labradors making themselves at home. We actually booked a table and went back tonight. This time in the restaurant. Service was flawless food amazing muscles, halibut and STP). Can’t recommend highly enough!"

"We recently enjoyed the Christmas breakfast with Santa at Lavender Bee Tea Room and it was a wonderful experience. The full cooked breakfast was delicious and served hot, accompanied by unlimited tea and toast. Our grandchildren were thrilled to receive presents from Santa, as well as treats for the reindeer, an elf scroll, and engaging activities at the table. The staff was very friendly and even took the time to contact us beforehand to learn more about our grandchildren so that Santa could personalize their experience. Overall, it was great value for money and an excellent morning out. Well done to the team at Lavender Bee Tea Room!"

"First time at Niko's in Morpeth but will not be the last! Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant music was not too loud making it possible to speak to each other. Staff were all very friendly and attentive the owner also very friendly and keen to see we had a good meal. Food was lovely we had Greek salad, Spanikopita (spinach pastry) and Keftedes (meatballs) as starters. The pastry was wonderful filo pastry wrapped round spinach filling yummy! Main courses were also fabulous Chicken in white wine sauce, Chicken gyros platter, Chicken skewer, Pork skewer large portions so be prepared! Bottle of house white wine with the meal was also good. No room for desserts unfortunately, just coffee. Can't wait to go back and try something different from the menu."

"Fantastic spot in Bellingham for breakfast, tea and cake. I was there for an afternoon tea to celebrate my mother-in-law's 90th birthday and it was fabulous. On our way in the door, the outgoing patron very much recommended the breakfasts, so I'll have to give that a go. The afternoon tea was home made and most excellent with a selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones and an assortment of cakes all served with a smile. Thoroughly recommended. Pro tip: parking in Bellingham can be entertaining as it's busier than you might expect and there's not all _that_ much space so be prepared to fish a bit... Pro tip 2: if your party is larger than 4, I'd definitely think of booking a table as there's only so much space to go around."

"We are new to the area and left behind a brilliant indian take away so looking for a new one we read reviews and decided to give this a go ! That was 5 weeks ago ordered 2 meals and when delivered only one arrived. We decided to give them another chance to prove themselves on our wedding anniversary, the order took 1hr and 15mins to arrive and was wrong again i ordered lamb and they sent chicken if I had been blindfolded I would have said I was eating tomato and chicken stew it was nothing like an indian meal and neither was my husbands we were very dissapointed so sorry but two chances is enough, we will be going elsewhere in future."

"The rice naan and lentils where fine but there it ends. Firstly a naan I hadn't ordered was on my order. I rang to inform them but no one answered the phone left a message. Message from their agent saying 40 minute delay but arrived on time? Then I find that the onion bhaji paid for was missing. Again phone call with no answer. And to top it all the curries a bhuna and a vindaloo were very disappointing pointing. Imagine the same bland sauce with only a little bit more chillies in the vindaloo never again."
