"Amazing food and atmosphere plus very dog friendly! When eating out we can often find five adults, three children and two dogs stressful but not here. Such a chilled place which made it so welcoming and relaxing. The food was AMAZING, very generous portions and good value for money. We had pizzas which in our opinion were better than many Italian restaurants, chicken wraps which were packed full and delicious, huge fish and chips and amazing kids meals which left us all stuffed. Good prices and good beers too. Lots of couples/families with dogs, and although maybe basic in decor it’s all part of its charm. Lovely, friendly service too and we will definitely be back. Thank you!"

"Easy to find from the A1 as signposted from the south. Arrived for lunch and decided to choose the flatbread with hummous and mediterranean veg. My auntie had the chicken and avacado wrap, both were delicious and portions were large.Was quite tempted by the various interesting salad choices and by the smell of neighbouring tables chips. We sat inside, which was fairly busy for a misty Monday in September. OUtside we noticed a children's play area and numerous ride-on trctors for toddlers to play on. Will definitely return to sample more delicious food."

"I stumbled upon this delightful cafe by chance and was pleasantly surprised. The menu offered a fantastic variety of options. My husband and I had a wonderful lunch with fabulous food and presentation. If we lived closer, we would definitely eat here regularly. The restaurant was bustling with all tables full and people waiting in line at the door. We will absolutely be returning on our next visit to Morpeth. I highly recommend this cafe - thanks for the amazing lunch, and the homemade coleslaw was divine!"

"Wow!! The food was so hot the delivery chap was struggling. Fast and VERY fresh, an absolutely cracking meal, definitely the best food I’ve EVER had delivered. Everything was absolutely perfect , the chicken was succulent, the (peculiar) chips were gorgeous, couldn’t eat them all!,...zinging hot. The salad was fresh, crunchy and beautifully dressed, there were things I don’t believe I ordered, the garlic bread and the choccy thingy, put that in the fridge ferthemorra!! Yumyumxx Bit dear, but wotthehell! Well worth it, 2 meals really x. Highly recommended xx"

"We don't eat out very often these days and a short trip into Blyth for lunch suits us well. We love Sambuca. Pizza, glass of wine and finished with an espresso is just perfect. We are pretty fussy about pizza. Must be thin and crispy crust. Just what we get here. The staff are always welcoming and nothing too much trouble. We like to order 2 different pizzas and share half of each. No problem at Sambuca, the chef does half and half for us. So much easier than trying to cut them in half and pass them between us at the table. Thanks, Sambuca. We won't be your biggest spending or frequent customers but definitely most appreciative."

"I loved Cafe One! It's nestled in the ex mining village of Cambois, and is along the sustrans cycle route of the coast. The staff are friendly, the food is home made and a good price they also do ice creams (great for taking to the nearby beach on a hot day! I have not been here for a breakfast yet but i definitely will soon!"

"This restaurant is an absolute gem. It has been run by a lovely couple for 38 years and, having visited last week when we were staying in the area, we can understand how they have been going for so long. The food is fabulous, home cooked style in the very best sense of the phrase. I had the steak and kidney pie which was amazing proper home made pastry and meat which just melted. The vegetables were lovely, fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned. My wife had the lamb chops and said they were the best she has eaten anywhere. The ingredients are all locally sourced and of exceptional quality. The atmosphere is lovely and it really feels as if you’re dining with friends family. We both said that if we lived in Warkworth we would go every week."

"It just shows that there is demand for cafes in that period in between Christmas and New Year. After a family walk in the local area in late December we searched out a cafe to have a late lunch, The whole of the town of Coldstream appeared closed, so we headed to Wooler where Ramblers was the only cafe open. It was very busy. The food we were served was very good indeed and excellent value. Despite the owner clearly being rushed off his feet, service was cheery and efficient, We shall definitely visit again."

"Considering we booked a table in advance I was disappointed to be told we had to wait as there was non available, eventually was given a table but no menu had to look around to find one. We ordered starters and main course then waited and waited until the starters appeared but NO CUTLERY I had to ask at the bar for some we then waited another age to have the dishes removed then another wait for the main course to arrive but guess what NO CUTLERY, then another wait to have the dishes removed and order some sweets after another long wait the sweets turned up and guess what NO CUTLERY once again a search for a member of staff to get some spoons. The food was good but the service!!!! Staff training seems to be lacking"

"Saw this place as we were passing through and noted the name for later in the day. Rang ahead to see if they could accommodate a large party of us within the next few hours which they did within an hour. Warmly greeted upon arrival with table all ready. "After using Red Naga for years as our favourite takeaway disappointed to say they have lost a loyal customer. Ordered my normal order ie they tell me what I order when I ring they gave me a much hotter dish by mistake so I rang up they insisted that’s what I ordered even though I didn’t order no differently from normal so offered to change it but I would have to pay for it. In reply to the owners response NO it wasn’t explained to me CLEARLY and NEVER did I ask for anything free (charity) it definitely wasn’t explained to me about a manager coming out himself to deliver me a masala. Member of staff on the phone mentioned a masala by delivery with a discount on delivery but that it would be a while as were busy obviously with it being a Saturday. I explained the facts how I see it. Maybe the manager could have spoken to me himself instead of his RUDE!! response claiming I expect charity. I have ordered on the app for a while now so can’t understand why I would order it wrong I always order the same order. "I visited this restaurant on October 15th, 2023 for Sunday lunch. It is located a 15-minute drive from Hexham in a beautiful setting with lovely views from the dining area. The pub is cozy and has a traditional feel from the early 20th century, not overly old-fashioned. We had Sunday dinner and the food was fantastic. The Sunday roast was served promptly and was delicious, with a side of Yorkshire pudding, carrots, and turnips that were exceptional. The menu had a good variety and the prices were very reasonable. There was also a great selection of drinks and desserts, with the apple crumble being especially delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and I cannot fault this place at all. I highly recommend it."

"We had our eye on this place after walking past at the weekend and it was full. We were on holiday for a week so popped in later as a walk in on a Wednesday early dinner. The staff were really welcoming and kind to our kids. Service was fast. We chose some mild curries and a chicken goujons dinner. We ordered suitable stuff for the kids off the adult menu and they were fine with us sharing dishes. Both our primary school age kids hoovered it all up and had a great time. The restaurant was relaxed and pleasant for families. Great food. Our son particularly liked the peshwari naan and I’ve never seen our daughter shovel away so much korma chicken. All very reasonably priced. Great Curry place would recommend for families on holiday."

"As our normal takeaway was closed due to holidays, decided to try this one as it was supposed to be good. What can I say my husband went to collect but when he arrived it was chaos in the shop with people been given wrong orders. When he arrived home all the food was Luke warm, popadoms were soft. The salad accompaniment was browning and limp and the sauce was really sweet. The lack of depth and flavour of the chicken tikka saag was disappointing to say the least, it was like a tin of spinach has been added to chunks of chicken tikka pieces no spices added at all The onion bhaji tastes like it had been reheated ages ago and to add insult to injury, the chipati we ordered wasn’t there. Maybe this was an “off day” but we won’t be wasting our time frequenting it again"
