"Food was lovely but I have to say the staff need to know their craft! When I asked the waiting staff what the seasonal veg were I was reluctantly told oh, peas, broccoli, cauliflower oh and carrot I think .. she wasn 't sure and didn 't go and check but stood talking to the otherstsff who were looking over at me as though I 'd asked some weird question.(there never were any peas). Although the large sign outside stated that it was a Theakston pub when we asked for Old Peculiar the girls hadn 't a clue. Evidently they were not a Theakston pub and had never heard of this ale! Caused some hilarity."
