"Nice village pub with low beams and part thatched roof, it was surprisingly quiet, all the staff were lovely, particularly the young lady who was our dinner waitress, my wife and I both had fish and chips and agreed it was delicious and filling, we then had creme bruille and sticky toffee pudding, again, both were delicious. Breakfast in the morning was the usual full English and again nice and tasty. The stairs and landing were a little low but part of the charm, the actual room was spacious and clean, all in all a good welcoming village pub, we would be happy to stay again."
