Fantastic dining experience thanks to an exceptional chef and incredibly friendly service. We were a party of ten, and nearly everyone ordered something different from the menu; everything was extraordinary. The steak was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!

Just came home from having a weekend away there. The owners/staff are so kind you couldn't ask for better service. The food was delicious. The room is great size, we brought our 2 dogs and had loads room still. Only thing I would say is a full size mirror would be amazing but that's just me being picky otherwise really good in room, very clean. We definitely will be back. Such value for money. The inn has a charming cottage-style atmosphere and features friendly, helpful staff along with a clean room. Unfortunately, our sleep was quite disturbed due to the noise from the busy main road right outside our window. We were frequently awakened by the sounds of speeding cars and trucks. If you’re seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway, I wouldn't recommend staying here. Rooms: 2 Service: 5 Location: 1

We visited the New Forest for the first time with family and decided to go out for a meal. There were only four people at the bar, but when we asked if we could eat, we were met with a blunt refusal, as we hadn't made a reservation. While I understand the policy, the attitude of the bartender was rude and unnecessary. Unfortunately, we won't be returning to this establishment and certainly won't be recommending it to others.

Nice village pub with low beams and part thatched roof, it was surprisingly quiet, all the staff were lovely, particularly the young lady who was our dinner waitress, my wife and I both had fish and chips and agreed it was delicious and filling, we then had creme bruille and sticky toffee pudding, again, both were delicious. Breakfast in the morning was the usual full English and again nice and tasty. The stairs and landing were a little low but part of the charm, the actual room was spacious and clean, all in all a good welcoming village pub, we would be happy to stay again. Speisekarte ansehen
