"It has everything, good food, good atmosphere and good music! my partner and I went to eat yesterday recommended by another friend and I loved it. The first thing you realize when you come in is music. jazz and funk run all over the corners of the dining room and the bar, which makes you feel comfortable and quiet from the beginning. The waiter who attended us, who I think is one of the owners, was very kind and compassionate, as he could not be in such a nice place. the tables are well located and separated in compliance with the norms of the covid and the lighting is tenuous throughout the dining room making the entire stay an intimate place ideal for romantic dinners. about the food, my partner and I try so eggplants with palm honey, chips, chips, fries, so sweets, and some burgers. It's definitely one of the best places I've had the pleasure of eating. I asked for a burger, which I decided to double it, called mayfield encurtis (yes, like the singer and songwriter of soul funk) and is one of the best burgers I have tried not only for meat, which was abundant, but for the nuances of its cheese sauce, cebollite and bread. all this accompanied by two handmade beers from the house chutney. In the end we ask for two desserts, one of chocolate and hazelnuts and one of mango and maracuyá that will delight the most golos@s. with respect to its location is good, 6-7 minutes from the park garcía sanabria, where you can take a walk to make digestion. It's not hard to find, but I recommend you don't go by car because parking around that area can be a problem. As for the price, it is suitable. I do not consider it expensive due to the high quality of the products, the great atmosphere and the cordial and close to the pair that professional. my personal recommendation is that they go between week and weekends are full of delicious eaters to eat so delicious burgers. And I put 5 stars on them because they don't let me put them anymore. in summary: good food, good atmosphere and good service at an appropriate price. It has become the place of the mandatory stop to which I have to take to eat my amig@s when they come to visit the holy cross of havingife."

"First time in Jaxana, but visit Santa Cruz every year or two from a city with an amazing culinary scene. I understand that context is everything and there is not a lot of choice when it come to Asian restaurnants in the region, but this place is simply not good enough. I 'd really had high expectations reading the reviews, but flavour-wise, it is just so bland and uninteresting. Between us, we had gyozas, makis, cantonese pork with rice, Indonesian nasi goreng. Whoever cooks here is technically competent (gyozas were well made and rice nicely cooked), but was is one of the blandest Asian cooking I 'd had in a long time (the only worse one was actually also in Santa Cruz, called Tagami I believe). The real disgrace was the nasi goreng, which should be bursting with flavour and spices, but it was bland, inspid rice with carrots, peas etc, which I had to improve by adding soya sauce and wasabi (just to make it more palatable). We just wanted to finish the dish as it was late and we were hungry. Makis were cut so thinly and lost any punchiness, were makis should be thick cut rounds. All the fillings were totally unidentifiable, you could have been eating aything. To add insult to injury, when the waiter asked if everyhing was OK, we said we did not enjoy the flavours of the dishes and we didn 't think they did justice at all to these glorious cuisines, he just literally shrugged his shoulders and turned around. Didn 't even say he was sorry. I don 't think I 've had such a bad combination of blandness and rudeness in a restaurant in a long time. On top of it, they claimed they only had two white wines that night due to them being closed beforehand. Of course, they did not discount anything on the bill, just as a gesture when you know customers are unhappy. We let it go, paid up and definitely will not be back. If you are in the mood for Asian, there is a new place in Santa Cruz called Kon Tiki, which, although, not perfect, is infinitely more competent and interesting."
