"Fifteen minutes later, a young waiter brought my wife's coffee but forgot my tea. He asked if that was all, and I reminded him about the tea I was still waiting for. He mentioned that drinks were supposed to come with the all-day breakfast, so I explained that they didn’t have our order when we arrived and shouldn’t assume our initial drink order was for that meal. After I expressed that we had been waiting far too long for our included drinks, he went back to speak with the waitress about the tea, and I noticed they both laughed. Another ten minutes went by before my tea finally arrived.
When it was time to pay, I wasn’t given an itemized receipt, so I had to ask for one. Eventually, the waitress provided it: two all-day breakfasts, with drinks included, plus an extra tea and coffee. The food itself was good, but the service left a lot to be desired. Although I saw other positive reviews and had some nice conversations with fellow patrons that day, I believe all customers deserve equal treatment and respect.
Overall, this was the low point of our five-day trip to Wales, which was otherwise beautifully picturesque, with friendly interactions throughout. I don’t think I’ll be returning to Arthur's."
