"Called in on our way back home from a week in Pembrokeshire as a bit of a spontaneous decision. Are we glad we did though as this is the first time we’ve eaten here and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone! What an incredible place to eat if you like Thai food (they do other food too including breakfast etc) but we went for the Thai meals. From the moment we walked in the door the reception from the waiting staff was fabulous and very friendly and welcoming. The service was fantastic and the authentic food we had was second to none! We will definitely be back when we are passing by!!! Thanks very much!"

"So it would be unfair to say this was average but we would not rate as very good for a couple of reasons. Firstly there was just one waitress who did her absolute best to try and look after a very full restaurant but struggled and we felt sorry for her. My wife had a special of fishcakes which she said were excellent and a good portion. I had the scampi, which was ok but maybe a little greasy but that was maybe because it had not had time to rest as they were trying to get food out. Also the chips were very undercooked. My wife enjoyed her Pinot Grigio and we were going to have coffee and cake but waited 20 minutes and could not get the attention of the poor waitress so we decided to pay and go. I think we just picked a bad day so would go back as some of the other food coming out looked great."

"Fifteen minutes later, a young waiter brought my wife's coffee but forgot my tea. He asked if that was all, and I reminded him about the tea I was still waiting for. He mentioned that drinks were supposed to come with the all-day breakfast, so I explained that they didn’t have our order when we arrived and shouldn’t assume our initial drink order was for that meal. After I expressed that we had been waiting far too long for our included drinks, he went back to speak with the waitress about the tea, and I noticed they both laughed. Another ten minutes went by before my tea finally arrived. When it was time to pay, I wasn’t given an itemized receipt, so I had to ask for one. Eventually, the waitress provided it: two all-day breakfasts, with drinks included, plus an extra tea and coffee. The food itself was good, but the service left a lot to be desired. Although I saw other positive reviews and had some nice conversations with fellow patrons that day, I believe all customers deserve equal treatment and respect. Overall, this was the low point of our five-day trip to Wales, which was otherwise beautifully picturesque, with friendly interactions throughout. I don’t think I’ll be returning to Arthur's."

"this is a friendly relaxed pub with good value eating. we enjoyed a very good Sunday dinner that was a good portion for the price that was £13.50 per head. the bark was very well cooked and the pig was also excellent. the cauliflower...cheese was very nice, like the bratkartoffeln and there was much serious. we were too full for a dessert, but my wife enjoyed a beautiful glass Portuguese red. it would have been nice if it had been a local beer in the offer, but others that the service was good and the pub busy."

"This place is an absolute gem just out of the centre of Laugharne. Compact, small business, family run, it is a wonderful fusion of local Welsh produce and perhaps surprising but beautifully provided Spanish cuisine. The only way to describe it for me is proper home cooked food I had the meatballs) that I would happily order and enjoy in a top end restaurant. There was eight of us and we almost filled the place but not one person was disappointed with their meal. Point to note here, a number of our group are vegetarian, and they were very happy with their options. Give it a go if you are in town.
