"It is a small restaurant that I saw is carried by your wife (in room) and her husband(cocina) and as it usually happens when the owners or employees involved take it, the room is usually charming and helpful trying to make the dinner safe and pleasant. The kitchen with so lights and shadows, but generally good with some critique but nothing to bother or make you think it's bad kitchen. The appetizer was a gazpacho with chorizo:It was good but it's not the best I've ever tried and the chorizo doesn't understand it kills the taste but I understand why they love it in France. Vegetables with cheese cream: good with so good things and bad but good, I liked it. The paella rissoto (as always with chorizo.the amoooor!!!!!!) It was good even if I got more to the dente and knew more than desired to ricord (but it was good).fallo on the plate is to put rock mussels and not leave them open at all, they have to eat it to the comensal and diminish the value of the mussel. The seconds, more of the same, seem good, but with so faults. St.Peter; it was good something past but not because of the chef's fault, but I got a little less the black pig (I think it puts in the chochinillo menu, but for me it was pig, he excused it because in spider he eats very young)It was very good with his salsa that is appreciated. The fish and meat carry the same garrison and puré with the difference the fish with roasted potatoes and the pig with polenta. "tuesday, january 28, 2020, lunch. it was a moment that i did not come to lunch at this restaurant which is one of the oldest in toulon, there since 1862. before going any further, this is the maximum rating on tripadvisor, 5 stars! you who are looking for a romantic place, a hidden gem to surprise the loved or thank a very good customer, look no further! this is the great class, it starts with the location, right next to the opera, then enter through a very bright veranda which itself overlooks a very chic interior room, spacious and very comfortable. at first glance, we see that every detail has been cared for, the tables are superbly well trained, and yes the great game! the sheets and cotton towels, alongside beautiful glasses mounted on football, covered with very design. the table space is not lacking, because there is a very convenient service. the decor is punctuated by contemporary paintings, loudspeakers broadcast a classical music that give the final touch for a gastronomic immersion. the welcome is warm, the service is worthy of the greatest names of the restoration, with that little extra that i like and i call usability. it's class without being stuffy. now about my dining experience, i selected the tasting menu is a very good compromise. i started the meal by an appetizer consisting of prawns, scallops jacques and mushrooms, then a starter, 6 oysters fine de clair no 2, fresh and fleshy with this iodized flavor, i then followed with the dish i thing in the proposals, Saint-Jacques fried with leeks and risotto. i invite you to look at the picture, because you immediately notice that there is a real chef in the kitchen, the presentation is perfect, cooking allows to enjoy the taste and flavor of each ingredient is simply sublime, perfect control for an effect wohaaaaaa ... this deserves notice to par, that is fine, can transmit my feelings. when i say our restaurateurs have talent, it's not a cliché. it's my way of saying, congratulations, you are a leader! i finished my meal with a pineapple clafoutis homemade, which rose like a baby jesus with a velor pants and i finished with a coffee served with a small mandian and financial. the total addition is 41 euros! which given what is described above is similar to the gourmet discount! an exceptional value for money for the restaurant at the deaf. it is one of the best restaurants in toulon.
