"This was my second trip to Shahi Karachi for lunch Monday). Last time 9 months) It was a good budget lunch meal which I would have rated 4 star) when I accompanied a friend who spoke Urdu. This time I ordered a whole roast baby chicken for lunch £5.99)on the bone re-heated on charcoal and was cut into four pieces. however this time I could find 2 legs, one chicken breast with its breast bone and one chicken breast bone without its chicken breast fillet. So I queried the waiter and asked what happened to the other chicken breast fillet as a chicken has 2 legs and 2 breast pieces when quartered. I laid the chicken quarters on its plate and I showed a waiter how one chicken breast has an inch thick breast meat on the bone but the other breast piece just has the rib cage bone but no breast fillet attached! This waiter assured me that the meat was there when the plate was clearly showing two chicken legs, one breast fillet on bone and the other was just the flat chicken rib cage! So I called the boss to come to have a look at the two breasts. I was lost for words when he confirmed everything was there and reasoned that the look was due to the way it was cut! Having lost for words I decided to cut my losses and proceed to eat in this lunch hour. The chicken meat itself was overnight roast chicken on spit)left over from Saturday or Sunday reheated on charcoal so it was dry and cardboardy. After paying the bill in full, as I walked out I explained to another shop worker that I was disappointed that a quarter part of the chicken was missing. He was the guy that charcoal 'ed the baby chicken in the front. He too also said the whole chicken was there. Anyway there is no need to get too stressed up over a chicken breast as this will be my last meal here since neither there is quantity nor quality. Maybe the chicken has had breast surgery at the Royal Free Hospital nearby? Maybe the missing fillet went to another tray , who knows but it was sure not on my plate! I also ate a lamb tikka. The lamb tikka £4)was tough, dry and sinewy 3 chunks of lamb)and had the chewy factor and mosture content very similar to overnight cooked lamb reheated. It was so unlike how I expected it succulent when freshly charcoal 'ed) because it was raw lamb on a skewer when I picked this from their cabinet. The nan bread was fabulous as it was fresh dough in a clay oven freshly baked to order. I suspected that the spit roast chickens would taste better at the weekend when the restaurant is busier. But on Monday I believed we were eating the left over from the weekend... so not very nice to have dried left over spit roast to be re-heated again on a charcoal grill."

"at the theke the person serving me gave a hot plate (they used a towel to hold it) directly into my mere hand and burned me. obviously it hurt until I just started crying. instead of apologising to ask if I was. okay, or offer any help she just left and began to serve other people without even completing my order. another member of the staff kwme to theke and had to call her back. again she did not apologize or asked if I was in order, she said she had not heard the rest of my order as if it were mine. I repeated this and she brought me one of the things. then I repeated it again and she said she didn't hear me so I was done. she brought me the last article (a ham and cheese pannini,) but in a croissant instead of brot and without a side salad. I had no energy to keep track of them at this point, my hand was hurt, and so I just left it. I asked the man until he informed them about the transfer of the hot plates and he said he would do it. He also offered no help or support. I know I should have said something back then, but I had a pain, I was a little shocked, so I just left it. the personal should be aware of when you pass hot hair. if a court is hot enough that they need a towel, then it is too hot for mere hands, they either have to cool the court or they have to warn customers before they should be offered it via the first aid and the infall book filled, none of them was done, I was not even directed to the toilet where I could run it under cold water and could not see any toilets in the building they have learned that I have been out. I finished a cold can of pop trying to run away the burning without so much as an excuse to calm down and then serve other people without completing my order is bad customer service, no matter how they cut it. I don't know if she was just a bit stunned or embarrassed, what had happened, but it wasn't a proper answer, especially since I was clearly hurt and visibily was annoyed that I informed the tower afterwards and they said they were investigating it. they offered me a free lunch in the caffe about apology, but when I saw a 589 miles long trip living away, that was not much good so I rejected it. If/if we go back to london, I would probably take a lunch package when I visited the tower."

"Extremely unfriendly staff. We booked a table for the France-Hungary football match. (2pm, June 19) upon arrival we were informed that our table was indoors. We asked if we could be seated outside as that’s were we wanted to watch the match and the online booking system didn’t allow to pick outdoors or indoors. The staff had no intention to help or have an apprehensive conversation about the problem. It was 2pm and all of their tables outside were free at that point, 50% of them with booking from 5-6pm. We explained that we would only stay for 90 minutes which is the duration of the match. The host lied and said that all the tables were booked from 2pm. There were 2 tables taken at that point in the garden, as the pictures show below as proof and most of them booked later in the evening. We also suggested that we would immediately move from a table if anyone comes. The answers were unreasonable and illogical and totally out if context not related to the query. They went along the below lines: “Do you know how a reservation system works, have you ever done it?” “It is not our fault that Boris has this and that regulations in place..” Completely irrelevant and illogical responses and just simply unhelpful. At this point we didn’t have the time or option to book another place. We decided to watch the match from outside of the pub from the street. The pub should spend some time with training their staff to have basic problem solving and communication skills. Not recommending this place."
