"Honestly, we came there by chance after the frustration of it being impossible to park the car during the lunch time in Etretat..! We took off in a hope to find something on the road. Apart from a lovely trip in the countryside to get there, the "Auberge" happened to be a great choice for lunch. I have to say, it indeed seemed a better choice for lunch, since next day we also decided to return for dinner, and did not leave with the same excitement. I even had the same dish- entree - and the presentation , and even the ingredients were different, not same refined..(!) . The only difference: I forgot to omit the lard on the second day.. who knows may be this fact prompted the creativity to compensate for that? Or, perhaps the dinner time leaves less time for curating small things.. A minor disappointment, because overall we loved the food..! We ordered 2 types of menus to try out and share. The cheese selection was "to die for " beautiful, rich as an artist palette..! I just wished they would variate the menu from one day to another."
