"another five-star hit from the side of our Italian food guide. before I start, oliva nera is not a place for lovers of foaming, knocking and other ugly flames. this is a family-run device that is warm, well managed and has a cook that. the Italian tradition to get the best ingredients and treat them with respect. at the beginning, the filled zucchini flowers of my wife were wonderful. it followed this with a daily special of beet root and potato gnocchi with mushrooms that was absolutely perfect. I started with a daily special of spaghetti vongole with ingwer who was epic. I had later snuggle in the week with ingwer (in a facility known for the quality of their seafood), and in my opinion this court was better. I had a special one to follow the pasta a 650g calfshacker. I'm still dreaming about it today. what a size and how nicely cooked. a little “char” on the meat, but still a delicious moistur. I just couldn't manage dessert, but my wife chose the Mascarpone cheesecake again, completely delicious. the star of the show was the oliva nera house red wine. we both love our wein (especially Italian), and the list was a short (ish) but well rounded selection of Italian classics. what fascated me, the two were weeping with the title “Personal Selection”. there was a 2018 amarone (my personal favorite wine), at a reasonable price, (for a good amarone), from €110 and a red to €65. they must be quite confident of their choice to put on these trips, which is in fact their home wines. I've got hundreds of amarone drunk so I chose the other one. the beautiful lady who took our order told me that this was her favorite; from the veneto and a mixture of Cabernet grapes. the wine trade looks at non-traditional varieties in italia, but I have always found that they are excellent and this wein could be excellently combined in a word. Even my wife, a big Primitivo fan said that this was one of the best weep she ever tasted. every year our Italian food guides throws a restaurant that is not on the “tourist radar” and this year is oliva nera the restaurant. when we return next mai, it will join our lists of “muss revisit” businesses."

"The food, quality and service of this restaurant is good. I have a big deal with them as they have dealt with my bill. I paid the bill on TheFork. I have received a confirmation that it has processed correctly and received a confirmation email reception before we left the restaurant. BT2 WORK I had made reservations by TheFork, and I had confirmed with them that my reservation was made by the fork when we arrived. They even showed me on their iPhone to confirm my reservation that it was me. I mentioned our waiter in which hotel we lived. When we came to the hotel later in the evening at 11 a.m., our keys did not work in our room. We went down to get another key, and the man at the desk refused to give us a key until we dissolved our bill with the restaurant. Apparently the restaurant called her and said we didn't pay our bill. I don't know why our hotel would get involved. You should have just informed us about the problem and rely on the fact that obviously I also have a big problem with our hotel (Hotel Papadopoli). Even when I showed the man at the desk, he refused to give us our keys and insisted on talking to the restaurant. After a few minutes on the phone with the restaurant they admitted that they found the entrance and confirmed that we had actually paid. Only then would the man at the Hotel Papadopoli give us keys to our room. As I wrote, I also have a big problem with the hotel, but this restaurant should be very, very careful before accusing a customer to be a thief."
