"It doesn't seem to matter which menu item you choose, everything was outrageously tasty, cooked to perfection and meeting very high standards indeed. This recent addition to the scene catapulted itself into a/the leading position in Basel (if not the entire region) for the Indian cuisines. Shame though that our server almost managed to ruin the experience: ordered items were forgotten (repeatedly), liquids were spilt (repeatedly) and not cleaned up, hot wax from warmer candles was (repeatedly) spilt - and the person in question could generally not be bothered in the least. We were not even finished eating when he asked if we wanted "the check" (without bringing us the mineral water we had asked for twice). This is something I really loathe - brilliant cuisine, hopeless service. Makes me feel angry for all the great staff in the kitchen."
