Im Nachhinein betrachtet hätte ich ihr besser etwas anders geschenkt..Zunächst zu den positiven Punkten: die Zimmer sind geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und bietet auch viele vegetarische und vegane AlternativenJetzt zu den weniger schönen Punkten: das Hotel wirbt bei jeder Gelegenheit mit seinem Außenbereich und dem unverbauten Blick auf die Königsschlösser dass der Außenbereich gerade umgebaut wird und man eher Ausblick auf alle möglichen Baugerätschaften hat, wurde natürlich nirgendwo erwähnt. Ich habe im Vorfeld aktiv nach Einschränkungen im Wellnessbereich (z.B. Beheizung der Außenpools) wegen des aktuellen Energiesparprogrammes in Bayern gefragt, was vehement verneint wurde. Bei einer Lufttemperatur von 3°C wurde der Pool vor Ort dann auf 20°C geheizt, wärmer ginge nicht. Schade, wieder nicht ehrlich. Länger als einige wenige Minuten hat man es ohne zu frieren leider nicht ausgehalten. Der Außenpool war dementsprechend komplett leer, da nicht nutzbar. Im Spa Bereich gibt es relativ wenige Liegen. Wenn man nicht typisch deutsch morgens schon vor dem Frühstück eine Liege mit einem Handtuch reserviert, hat man wie wir Pech gehabt. Dass es wenig zur Entspannung beiträgt, wenn man im Spa Bereich dauerhaft stehen muss, ist sicher klar. Hier gibt es ein deutliches Kapazitätsproblem. Fun Fact: im Eingangsbereich kam es zu kleinen Stehpartys mit anderen Gästen, die ebenfalls keine Liege mehr bekommen haben. Das war tatsächlich ganz nett. Das gleiche Kapazitätsproblem gibt es an der Bar. Geht man nicht um Punkt 18 Uhr essen und sitzt um Punkt 20 Uhr an der Bar, bekommt man keinen Platz mehr. Man könne den Drink ja im Hotelzimmer genießen. Ja, kann man. Um alleine in seinem Zimmer zu trinken fahre ich dann aber nicht in ein Wellnesshotel. Das Servicepersonal ist maximal genervt, lästert in Hörweite über andere Hotelgäste und gibt einem auch sonst das Gefühl, als wäre man eine reine Belastung.Mein Lieblingsmoment: ich habe einen Kaffee bestellt und wurde daraufhin mit der Gegenfrage „Haferl?“ (oder so Ähnlich) konfrontiert. Auf die Nachfrage hin, was das denn sei, kam ein entsetztes „Ernsthaft?! Kaffee auf Bayrisch?!“ Tut mir wirklich Leid, dass ich nicht aus Bayern komme und mir nicht jeder Begriff geläufig ist. Diese bayrische Kaffeespezialität hat dann übrigens 6,60€ gekostet und war in der Tat nicht mehr als eine Tasse Kaffee. Zum Frühstück gibt es bereits eine Übersicht des Abendmenus. Meine Frau ist Vegetarierin und reagierte auf eine der Zutaten im vegetarischen Gericht allergisch. Direkt nach dem Frühstück haben wir an der Rezeption darauf hingewiesen und man hat uns versichert, dass das gar kein Problem sei und es ausreichend Alternativen gäbe. Beim Abendessen sah es dann leider anders aus, die Information ist in der Küche nie angekommen. Alternativ wurde dann ein Wiener Schnitzel vorgeschlagen die Servicekraft hat dann selbst gemerkt, dass das kein passender Vorschlag für eine Vegetarierin war. Ende der Geschichte: das Alternativgericht für meine Frau war ein Wiener Schnitzel mit Beilage (Spätzle) ohne Wiener Schnitzel. Unser Zimmer lag direkt über dem (Lieferanten)Eingang. Ja, mir ist bewusst, dass ein Hotel beliefert werden muss. Dass ab 6 Uhr morgens wegen der Geräuschkulisse an Schlaf nicht mehr zu denken ist, finde ich deshalb trotzdem nicht toll.Fazit: deutlich mehr Schein als Sein. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier überhaupt nicht wir sprechen von einem Preisniveau von mehr als 400€/Nacht.
