1815 Grill - Speisekarte

I decided to try this restaurant earlier this year. I wish we had gone to McDonald's instead. The food was terrible and the service was extremely slow.

heard mixed reviews about the tapas, but had booked a meal with friends. a shame that it only used table all night that was our own. was satisfied with eating and wine. I hope to go back. Hopefully it's going on. good food and attracts more needs.

I decided to give Marrakesh a try because I love tagines. I ordered the lamb tagine, but it lacked flavor and was very bland. I finished my meal hoping to taste some spices, but all I got was lamb, onions, and a clear liquid. The dish was supposed to be slow-cooked with prunes in a rich aromatic sauce and topped with roasted sesame seeds. It sounded delicious, but what I was served was disappointing.

While visiting relatives in Laceby we have had Sunday lunch in the restaurant twice now and have been more than satisfied. We were able to mix items from both the bar and restaurant menus and the well cooked food arrived promptly. The restaurant decor is...attractive and the staff were very friendly. Overall good value for money and a pleasant experience. Just a pity that its not supported by more locals.

Horrified to be served very raw chicken in my meal. To compensate the waitress said we could have a free drink. Totally ruined our evening the service was slow, my friend got served the wrong cocktail and then my raw chicken. Management just commented.. it was an accident, accidents do happen' and turned and walked away. Totally disappointed with the food, service and attitude. Dreadful experience and no apology

We dined here on a Sunday afternoon for my birthday and had a great time. We started with olives, hummus,zaalouk with warm bread all good. Then we went for the tapas had assorted dishes mix of fish, meat and vegetable all absolutely delicious all...piping hot. I had a cocktail which was very good too. Our waitress was very knowledgable and attentive. We will definitely be going again soon with friends. They do have a Moroccan chef there now so perhaps that's made a difference to previous comments? All I know is we had a fab experience there.

I have seen some poor reviews so would like to start with the positives, food was hot and plentiful, friendly service. The tapas where not exceptional but neither where they bad. I had chicken tagine and whilst there was plenty of it and it was...well cooked it lacked some of the more subtle Moroccan flavourings. I am struggling to find what they are missing here, it's that illusive spark that would kick start a great restaurant and there is something missing in the food. Maybe a more diverse menu would bring in more custom and give time to develope the Moroccan menu and also an atmosphere to dine in. Sorry to say it's not there yet so a star rating is being generous.

We were initially drawn in and impressed by the Moroccan interior design of the restaurant. We ordered drinks, which took a while to arrive at our table. When we tried to order several dishes, we were disappointed to find out that they were not available because the kitchen did not have the necessary ingredients. During our last choice of starter, we ended up eating a lot off the table since our side plates were not provided. When the main meal arrived, I had chosen a vegetable tagine. On a glorious afternoon, we decided to take a long walk to the village as we knew this place had an outdoor beer garden and we could sit in the sun and enjoy a pint. The service was friendly and the beer garden quiet, so...we got exactly what we were looking for. After a couple of drinks and too much sun, we opted to give the restaurant another go (see previous review in Dec Again, service friendly and efficient (albeit we were the only ones in there) and the deal was good value: for dishes from the Tapas menu and a bottle of house wine.
