Food is INCREDIBLE. Portion sizes are great, prices are super reasonable and the staff are super cool and efficient. It’s our favourite spot in town for a quick lunch.

Fabulous meal!!! We had ordered the tray which was £15.00 and had a selection of pitta bread, chips,chicken, fresh salad and three dips. It was amazingly tasty and fresh.

This report relates to the Grainger Street market branch. Wrap up warm, a rather cold venue in winter. place. Average tzatziki with pita bread and a Greek salad we consumed with sparkly water £11.80.

The food was delicious, but they automatically added a 20% service charge, which was especially unwelcome seeing as there was very little service involved you pay at the counter, and go back to pick up your order when it's ready.

Absolutely BANGING every time! I could eat this Gyros everyday. We eat here every match day for Newcastle United and never had a bad meal. Great Vibe. Greek staff — incredible, very friendly and accommodating! Keep smashing it lads! See you soon. 5 stars!

We had a Tray of Troy takeaway from Acropolis Street Food at the Stack in Seaburn , Sunderland . It served 4 people easily , it was a tasty meal , it’s my 12 year old daughters takeaway of choice . We were served by Sam who was polite and as friendly as ever .

Saw the Acropolis street food at The Seven Stars in Ponteland, so ordered a chicken gyros with halloumi and fries wrap absolutely delicious. My wife who was with me didn’t want anything at the time, but the gentleman serving us was insistent that she doesn’t leave empty handed (as I had a huge wrap! and gave her a taster portion of halloumi, salad and sauce! A very kind gesture indeed! It’s not 5 stars this one is 7!

We decided to have a chicken Gyros from here to go with a drink ,What a big mistake This was the most disgusting pile of cheap **** i have ever tried eating ..It was a piece of flatbread covered with freezing cold fries and dry chicken that was like chewing matches i literally had two bites and threw the rest in the bin . Why do these owners sell folks this muck at extortionary prices .Do not eat food from here unless your a rat ,,

We asked Acropolis to provide a food truck for our party at Tynebank Brewery. They provided their full range of gyros (so catered for all dietary requirements) and served up over 70 wraps during the evening congratulations to the staff in the van, who took obvious care and pride in producing and serving their food. All our guests greatly enjoyed the food, and the informal arrangements were just what we wanted for the event. We've always enjoyed gyros from the restaurants and food trucks when out and about in Newcastle, but hadn't realised Acropolis provided an events catering service that could handle smaller events like ours.
