Great food and service shame it was very quiet as a great deal for Bank Holiday.

I had booked this restaurant as a surprise for my daughter-in-law's 30th birthday. However, when we arrived, they were not expecting us and could not provide all the food promised. They did try their best to accommodate us. It seems that they do not use the Opentable App and do not check it for bookings. I was disappointed and felt embarrassed by the outcome. I planned a surprise 30th birthday celebration for my daughter-in-law at this restaurant. We returned to the West Sea to celebrate our one-year anniversary, and it was wonderful to be back at our favorite resort. The staff was friendly, polite, and courteous. I had mentioned in our online booking that it was our anniversary, and it was lovely to see that the team had taken note of it. Our waitress congratulated us on our special day, which was a lovely touch. The food was served in a timely manner and was absolutely delicious. The staff also surprised us with a special anniversary dessert, which was a delightful surprise. Thank you for making our first anniversary so memorable!

I made a reservation for 7:15 PM on Saturday, but when we arrived, the staff, who were very courteous and apologetic, informed us that there was a party of 200 next door, and all of their kitchen staff were tied up with that event. They told us that it would take at least 40 minutes to get our food, regardless of what we ordered. When we inquired if it might take longer, she mentioned that the same situation occurred the night before, and she suspected it would take much longer this time as well.
