"Un posto speciale per i bikers (e non solo . Trovato quasi per caso mentre disegnavo il percorso della giornata da trascorrere in sella. Già la recensioni erano ottime, ma devo dire che sono rimasto piacevolmente incantato da questo posto. Atmosfera eccezionale, ogni angolo di questa osteria trasuda storia. Ho avuto la possibilità di parlare a lungo con l 'oste (badate che è alla settima generazione, e l 'ottava è in divenire! , una persona squisita, si vede che tiene moltissimo al lavoro che fa. Ma veniamo al cibo, semplicemente delizioso. Ho assaggiato il loro piatto forte, ossia la calamarata unità d 'italia. Un accostamento perfetto di sapori! Non poteva mancare il dolce (pochi ma tutti rigorosamente preparati dallo chef , una sbrisolona di castagne e nocciole, mischiate con un pizzico si Aceto balsamico, sublime! Servizio super cortese e sempre attento a dare degli ottimi consigli. Chiedete all 'oste di farvi fare la visita guidata del castello a fine pasto, lui ne sarà ben lieto e voi avrete vissuto un pezzettino di storia di questo magnifico posto."

"Location was excellent with a great ambience. However our food was not worthy of the price charged. My fish had so many bones, that I just stopped eating it and it was flavorless. My husbands dinner was bland. No one ever checked on us, nor offered bread or water. We were basically ignored by the staff and finally had to wave someone down to ask for dessert. However, the tiramisu was AMAZING and it helped our feelings toward the experience a small bit. We would not recommend this restaurant and would never go back. Finally to pay, we had to go to the register and ask for our check. They seemed to care very little about small tables that were not locals."

"take any Sunday of October in which you want to go to chestnuts, imagine that hundreds of other people have had your own idea and realize that to do little more than 60km you take about 4 hours, just the time to give up the chestnuts and go directly to the restaurant! I've known the place for many years, but the landscape is always beautiful to see! the air is sparkling, almost cold, and the hunger is felt. They make us sit in the inner room, the restaurant presents itself spartano, cheese, recalls the mountain and the agricultural world, very beautiful, really mountain and the menu does not differ much from this idea: Beautiful dishes, no fighetti here, only people who want to eat well, abundant and tasty. We would like to take everything and a little and indecision we come to the rescue of plate one and three: a first (pizzoccheri) and two seconds. Great! It's ours! What do you mean? It was a great meal! excellent quality as well as the flavor and abundance, we felt so satisfactorily that we had to wean the sweet, a beautiful tiramisu really good, not too sweet and with the coffee that felt at every mouth! So, if you want to make chestnuts or not or if you just want to take a mountain trip, admire the landscape and eat something warm and appetizing bè this is the place that it does for you!"

"Non solo i menù tipici regionali italiani da gustare tutto l'anno in questa osteria moderna ma anche la Paella per chiudere la stagione estiva in una delle serate a tema! Complimenti! sempre in grado di sorprendere e sempre grande qualità e buon gusto! Locale incantevole , arredamento e attrezzature curati nulla fuori posto e nulla lasciato al caso, ottima dispensa vini, stupendo il banco alimentari, prodotti selezionati e di qualità.La cucina a vista è un tocco in più che permette di vivere a pieno l'esperienza culinaria facendoti sentire a casa ."

"Poor service. Good location. Ambitious menu. Unfortunately mediocre food at best. The beautiful location alone no longer justifies a visit. Very disappointing. We‘ve visited this restaurant since many years and had been overwhelmed by its location (view and atmosphere) last two times last year have been okay. The food then was not that good anymore but at least the service was good. This time (August 2023) this has been changing into one of the worst experiences me and my friends ever had. Several of them as well as me regard ourselves quite familiar with restaurants at all levels. In short: The service seemed to be bored by the guests. They were totally inattentive. Even expensive wine was not refilled from the bottle. the guest had to do that himself. Explanations about the menu were made reluctantly. The staff rudely pointed out mistakes to each other at the table. There was a lot of staff and the restaurant was half empty. At one point we asked to speak to the manager which I then conducted off the track. This experience with the manager was even more annoying. He just said that he just couldn't find good staff anymore. He didn't even apologize for the poor experience. I was amazed that he still made this claim. It seemed to me that he just openly resignated but expected the dumb guests to give in to that and pay the high prices. I was not asking for a discount of course but I was sure he would do some compensation without having to ask for. But this expectation was an illusion… (we paid the full price of more than 350 Euros) My conclusion: unfortunately absolutely no longer recommendable. The service is now a disgrace. Management just shrugs the shoulders and every trattoria knows that fish isn't served well done and has better service. The prices correspond in the smallest way more to the claim presented. And if even the management only scolds their own staff, the owner should first close the restaurant and start everything from scratch..."
