"We ignored Google maps and took the short cut along a track and through a ford which was easily passable. Booking is advisable to ensure they are open. The table was laid with 2 home cured hams and a air dried sausage along with 3 different cheeses and home made bread. All were tasty but I'd advise not filling up on the bread given what else is still to come. A prosession of delicacies followed, little pastries filled with potato and cheeses, courgette pancakes, little gnocchi with a sausage sauce and then delicious potato dumplings. The couple alongside us were working their way through it all much better than us but admitted they had skipped lunch. It didn't matter as the owner suggested we take home the leftovers giving us space to manage the scrummy roasted pork with salad. No food miles here. A fruit salad was a perfect way to finish and we brought the home made biscuits back with us. 28 euros including water, homemade wine and a liquor to finish seemed a bargain as it did us a second meal too. The friendly owners made the evening very enjoyable as we tried our best to understand each other."

We spent one night and gad one dinner in this lovely agriturismo, and I would definitely recommend it! The place is authentic, the family running it is 100% committed to quality and customer care, food is genuine and amazing, the rooms are newly done. Wonderful stay!!

We had a beautiful afternoon lunch here last summer and would like to say a big (belated) thank you for being such wonderful hosts, including opening up the kitchen especially for us and sharing stories about your family history at the farm. The food and local wine was also delicious too a real highlight of our trip. George and Rosa (from London).

This place was recommended by our host Giovanni as a great place to experience Sardinian cuisine. We were not disappointed. We had a set lunch as it was grape harvest. The place was full of locals as well as a few tourists. We arrived at 1pm and left at 4pm after several courses. The food was very good and so much of it. Excellent reception. Restaurant room without chichis. We feel like home. Typical kitchen with farm products. Fixed menu where everything is understood. Gargantuesque meal. All the dishes are to fall! Surgeon and pardula are excellent. The lamb and the pig of milk roasted a pure delight. Finishing the meal with the grappa house closed the feast. Do not eat too much before the risk of not being able to taste everything. Book before you go. Get your eyes closed.

booked a few days before our arrival the owner very kind even if not having other open reservations for us that we were in 7. rounded with cooked and raw appetizers accompanied by an excellent wine of property. culurgiones and malloreddus in abundance, roast pork, salad, salad, salad, traditional desserts, bitter and coffee. each dish meticulously explained both the recipe and the history of the dish. euro 32 per person. If you are in the area you can't lose those goodness!

We spent with a group (11 people) a dinner there and it was really touching and amazing. Everything was super fresh, and we had to rethink about the traditional “Sardegna” taste. The pasta and the aperitif was a kind of haven. We tried so many cheese (and we bought as well) and it was yummy. The owner is an angel, and the hospitality is hear melting. We called them before the visit to have some gluten free options and she prepared so tasty and fantastic pastas for us. Only for proposing the same menu for celiacs is excellence. Actually it is not very easy to get there but it is very well marked the dirt route. The flavors are the rustic and intense ones of the territory. Superlative wine, and only the excellence of the ingredients makes you dare to taste brought out of your patterns, see the bruschetta with the stomach of the kid. The Sigra Sandra is very courteous and prepared, illustrates every course and is very attentive to everyone's needs. Too bad there was no roasted sheep but the pig was superb. TripAdvisor managers should consider the possibility to assign 6 stars sometimes...this dinner was simply perfect. The experience started with finding the location: a nicely local style 1930 country house with restaurant and 3 rooms in the middle of an eucaliptus Australian like area close to dry rivers to be crossed. Then you can see the animals used for the food: everything is home grown and coked from the flour to the meat to the wine etc. DON'T SHOW THE YOUNG PIGS TO CHILDREN'S AND THEN PRETEND THEY EAT IT. ..please. "Driving on the SS125 highway from the east coast to the south we wondered where we should go for lunch. In the neighbourhood of Tertenia we saw a road sign for a restaurant. So we thought we will give it a try. We came on a small road that after about 100 m. run into a sand road. Okay, were does this end? Continue driving uphill we finally saw a big house with fresh colored blue tables and chairs on a terrace. Only 1 car on the parking. It looked like there was nobody. But when one of us walked to the door, a young lady came out and we asked if we could have something to eat for lunch. And yes we could. We where the only guests but it did not seem to be a problem. A friendly man set the table and we ordered just a simple plate of pasta together with a green salad, some bread and of course a glass of wine and a bottle of water. We do not remember the name of the plate, but it was delightful. We did not pay a lot for this wonderful lunch. When we wanted to leave the restaurant the man invited us in to the kitchen to see what dish the lady's were making for diner. They made stuffed pasta at the time and it looked very good. We said goodbye and felt sorry for ourselves knowing we should be to far away at diner time to go back there. This was a wonderful experience. So, if you are in the neighbourhood of Tertenia don't hesitate to drive on the sand road uphill to Agriturismo Cirra!"
