restaurant, simple and genuine. It is the only restaurant in the center of chestnut caves and for this it plays an important social role. the staff is kind and helpful... for all this deserves five stars.

the place is in the country, unpredictable (more trattoria/pizzeria than restaurant), but the menu is interesting and different from the average of the area where almost everyone offers Tuscan cuisine. the dishes are cured and the good ingredients. only sins perhaps the quantities, both me and kia wife took an additional dish after appetizer and second because we were still hungry. we ended up spending more than 80€ (with a glass of wine), which for a place like this is too much.

The name of the restaurant seems to anticipate simple and trivial dishes but not so, Ajo Ojo and Peperoncino offers quality ingredients and level dishes with combinations of value. We took the pasteurized broccoli that is a fragrant and dry fried and the crostone with the very tasty scarf. First a slicer with a fragrant bush and a lot of porcini. For dessert an innovative tiramisu to pistachio presented in glass pot with crispy cookies and a lot of delicate cream. Bright clean room with diffused music. Congratulations.

The place is simple and in line with the spirit of the menu. After two appetizers of croutons and polenta bruschetta (buoni) we took two seconds of meat: an orange duck and balsamic vinegar and a pork fillet with apples. The second of pork very good and tasty, the duck instead had a still wild taste as the orange sauce was not perceived. The dessert, an orange and chocolate cake, was tasty and a little reminiscent of Ferrero Fiesta. Not bad wine (Valpolicella), but the price is a little too high.
