Lovely romantic dining. Excellent Italian cuisine. Set in one of Hulls iconic converted dock front buildings it provides a great view of the river and marina. Good seafood options and a large wine and spirits selection.

Had a really nice meal. All three courses that I had were really nice. Same with what my sister ordered too. The chicken and mushroom main course was the nicest thing I’ve had in a good while. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Hull.

my colleague and I went to the restaurant al porto on Thursday and were blown away from our eating! the restaurant has a really nice, chilled atmosphere, but still keeps a level of class. I had the liveliers to begin, followed by the best risotto I've ever tasted. my colleague had to start the garlic puzzles and the spaghetti carbonara for its main. that was nice to eat. My colleague and I visited Al Porto on Thursday and were truly amazed by our meal! The restaurant has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere while still maintaining an air of elegance. I began with the duck liver appetizer, followed by the best risotto I have ever had. My colleague started with garlic prawns and enjoyed spaghetti carbonara as his main course. The food was excellent!

This Italian restaurant is fantastic, providing a unique ambiance with views of Hull's marina. Housed in a charming old brick building, the interplay of lights and colors creates a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The food is incredibly delicious and truly surprises the palate. The quality of ingredients is exceptional, especially the delicious extra virgin olive oil sourced directly from Italy. I plan to return and would highly recommend it to friends and family!

This is a fantastic Italian restaurant that provides a unique atmosphere with beautiful views of the Hull marina. I've visited Al Porto a couple of times, and I've never had a bad meal here. The menu is on the pricier side, but the food is absolutely fantastic and clearly made with very fresh ingredients. The restaurant itself is beautiful, featuring a cozy red brick interior that creates an intimate atmosphere—perfect for a date night. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that getting there by car can be a bit inconvenient (though there are no issues when leaving), and the entrance is rather strange, located in a multi-use building with two flights of stairs that feel more like an office. There’s a large bar area and an expansive dining space with well-spaced tables, which contributes to a much nicer acoustic atmosphere than what you might find in busier establishments. The interior is rustic yet beautifully decorated, maintaining the industrial feel of the building.
