"RUDE WAITER (OWNER) If I could give them a negative rating I would. We were done with the island of Burano however the boat was delayed by 30 minutes. We had a great day so far and then fate decided to screw that up. We went to Al Vecio Pipa because it looked nice and had air conditioning. The restaurant was NOT busy (I can see why now) and we asked for a seat. The man in black in the photograph sat us and asked what we would like. We told him we would have some drinks and that we weren't hungry as we just had lunch. He quickly snatched our menus from our hands and told us the bar was down the street. Now if It was just me I would of just rolled my eyes and took my money elsewhere. However, my wife was with me and where I'm from you don't talk to a lady like that. We stood up to leave and I told him sternly he was very rude and he proceeded to cuss me out in Italian. I turned around and took a picture of the restaurant and the waiter for clarity. He's the one in the black shirt with the look of a lonely life on his face. We left and spent $500 elsewhere. Avoid this place at all costs!"

Stopped here for lunch on a sunny Thursday. We sat outside along the canal and I had a spaghetti carbonara which was yummy. It was a very warm day for March and it was lovely just to sit and relax.

Local for tourists. no more or less. good dishes but usual menu for tourists with possibility of day menu with appetizer, first, second, etc. kind and courteous staff. prices in the average (of burano, therefore more altini). large room.

If you are a tourist or not and want to eat a delicious fried in the lagoon, our (22 euros) or only squid and verdurine (17 euros) , to the burano fureghin you must stop! the photos are of 25 August 2021, really very well! congratulations!

We order a big and delicious vegetable soup (minestrone) and fish starter wich was very interesting and tasty. After that, we eat tagliatele with salmon (very good), ghochi 4 formagi (home made gnochi, delicious), lemon schnitzel (very good) and the best sepia spaghetti in the world!!! Ww have a beaufiful experience. Thank you!
