very sweet and cozy restaurant, linguine was very tasty. it is so nice to have a vegan food option in whitby, that is not a falafel burger!

at the Whitby-Jet Museum. we had the open scrap sandwich with apple and thymiansalsa with two cut chips. pleasant environment with a beautiful atmosphere and with nice and friendly staff. I recommend this menu.

I love to eat in alberts, it is a beautiful place, full of history and it is wonderful to sit and have eat while a massive piece jet occupied with ammonites! the vegan options are always delicious and well thought out and the staff is always friendly.

we loved this place so very, super nice and friendly staff and a beautiful place, but the seafood cahowder was the best we ever tasted in our lives just beautiful aromen, perfectly seasoned, a very generous portion and fantastic worth for about £10. divine! (great whitby jet displays!

we didn't eat here, but the menu looked great. it is a really beautiful Victorian building with original features original Victorian flowing. there are some beautiful games of whitby jet jewellery, carving and ornaments. there are also information about how the beam was formed, which was interesting. worth visiting when they are in whitby!

Beautiful hidden gem inside the renovated old Wesley Hall, just beyond the museum at the entrance. The feeling inside is much more expensive than the very reasonable prices and the atmosphere is welcoming and laid back. We had the large bowl of mussels each which were delicious , accompanied by a glass of lovely Rioja from the lunchtime menu but we will definitely be back sometime to sample the evening menu. Highly recommended

we were looking for a place that was more exciting than (fried in vegetable oil) chips and we found it here. Although they have specialized in seafood, the one who created the menu has clearly thought about different nutritional requirements and has as such included a few vegan dishes. we both went for the pan fried gnocchi, which called with its offer of vegan cheese." it was not disappointed though we found that vegan appetite was underestimated. the prices were quite high, but it is worth the nicely decorated restaurant that was recently restored.

We were so glad to find a dog friendly venue with vegan items on the menu. We had the linguini and the homemade “goat cheese” and beet gnocchi which were great. However the VE sandwiches (pear, avo, humous) came served with a garnish of what we thought was not SFV coleslaw. In the end we felt that the person who had devised the menu understood veganism but perhaps not all the staff on this day or kitchen staff. As we’d already made it really obvs we were a mostly vegan group by checking the soup of the day (tomato and basil but included cream, shame So just a pity that the coleslaw came on the plate. Also top tip, if ordering linguini, the “side” is almost as much in quantity as the “main”,...

the restaurant is housed in a beautiful building and is a really nice place to dinen . the personal was very friendly and attentive, but the two vegan options that we ordered only 2 on the menu were terrible. my partner hates to complain and is a human vacuum cleaner normally, but even he could not finish this meal. he said his risotto tasted as if someone had used a whole bottle of jiffy lemon. my was like ratatouille, but the really bad ratatouille they get in doses. it was not cheap and certainly not a great experience. whitby is in the usually not good for vegan thanks to quality we had an airbnb apartment so that I could cook. not ideal as I was on vacation and did not want to cook, but...
