okay food and service at a reasonable price. No real complaints but expected a more pleasant restaurant from the photos on the web site. Turned out we were seated in the bar.

we onky wanted to have a drink, but we looked at the menu and ordered to eat. I had delicious steak pee with maic, heaped and carrots, my partner had sampi he enjoyed. very reasonable prices, we will be back when close. Speisekarte ansehen

We popped in for an evening meal and a few drinks. Excellent relaxed atmosphere. Great service and friendly welcome from Fiona. She was even kind enough to offer a brolly for us to get back to our accommodation as it was heavy rain. Thanks again....G&S Beveridge Musselburgh

as others say, no vegan special menu, but the personal went by and above to explain what could be veganized and let us pick up the menu, if we wished that they were the most items themselves quite easy to veganize the Vegi dishes (of which there are a few options inc pizza.) have been sitting here a few times at my juli visit in ballater. outside in the beer garden did not see the best from the environment, but they were both beautiful and warm sunny days, so I didn't want to sit inside. had a few really. nice pints nessie’s monster mash (a malty kastanienbier) and cairngorm ipa. also a very beautiful bowl of broccoli and cheese soup. The haddock also tastes exactly like haddock, unlike other tourist traps that have been reviewed recently. Overall, it is a great place to eat in Ballater.

vegan items not marked on the map, but there was a vegan pizza, mushroom risotto and more sweet available when we visited. her cheese is branched by local suppliers who are in vegan cheese and is amazing, far over everything in the super markets. can not speak for the other dishes, but the pizza was massiw and all the others leaving the kitchen was also huge. good choice of drinks at the bar and the chips were also amazing. if you're in the opposite, we didn't regret it.

the bed the alexandra on a Saturday around most of the tables were already reserved. fortunate there was a free table available. we had drinks and a main course. the food was excellent. I had the steak bee, all good meat without fat or gristle. my brother in law had the fish and chips, also excellent. our partners both had the sampi that was also delicious. the staff was friendly and efficient.
