Chicken florentina stuffed with ricotta and spinach with butter sauce, service was excellent, very quick and accomodating waiters/waitresses, good atmosphere decent service can't fault it

Had a fantastic 3 course meal in the week. Service was prompt, staff helpful and polite and the food was unbelievable! Have been a few times now and must say it’s a really nice place to go. We’ll definitely go back

Had the Lemon Sole and couldn't resist getting the rest of the sauce off the plate with my fingers....sorry ..but it was THAT GOOD. Hubby had fish and chips. Sorry the foto doesn't do it justice-we had started eating already Speisekarte ansehen

Lovely food all cooked lovely and tasted nice, service was a little slow on the drinks but it was very busy so it could have been down to not enough staff. Have visited on a number of occasions and always enjoy. Will definitely be visiting soon. Highly recommend

Went in randomly chill bar downstairs, did not expect the vibe upstairs at all! Bustling atmosphere, amazing fresh food counter on display, really lovely done. Great tasting food! My beef was a bit fatty and couldn't swallow some of it, otherwise a 5star. Lovely cocktails too

Enjoyed a love turkey Sunday lunch here. The food came out on lovely jot plates. Plenty and very nice. There were 11 of us and all the food came out at the same time. They catered for gluten free. The sticky toffee pudding I would recommend. Friendly staff and good service. It was our first time and traveled to get there but high recommend. Speisekarte ansehen

I went to a family birthday meal, and although the place was lovely, the Sunday roast was not for me. We all had the roast, but there wasn't enough veg or gravy brought out, causing some to wait on more veg and gravy and making our food cold. The staff were very friendly though but mainly the 3 star was for food, not the service. Hopefully you will get it right for others.

Honestly for food I believe this might be one of the greatest you can find in Pontypridd. From the waiters which one of which came down twice to get us from the smoking area to tell us that our food is ready to be served so it was still warm for us. The menu is extensive and there is plenty of choice with all the meats and fish being really fresh as they have a meat counter as you walk up the stairs/ elevator to the restaurant area. Overall I loved it

Alfred’s was fairly quiet on the Tuesday evening. The place was clean and tidy. The food was the star of the show, delicious and fresh. One of the nicest bits of fish I’ve had in a while. Although, we thought service was a bit of a let down. Nothing wrong with how friendly and helpful the staff was. More about attention to customers, such as we weren’t asked how the food was, the coffee took ages and waited a while with no server in sight to ask for the bill. Had to go in search of one to pay. You’d expect slightly better, especially when it’s a pretty quiet Tuesday evening. Overall I’ll definitely be going back again, just wish there would be a little more attention to customers (hence the... Speisekarte ansehen
