"This venue is exactly as it says on line. An old fashioned barge converted for on board and on riverbank dining. The menu isn't long, as the galley wouldn't allow it, but the selection fills most peoples requirements. Owner plus youngsters serving. Owner is clearly passionate about her cafe. I started with a chicken Laksa, nicely if gently spiced and had a baguette with breakfast ingredients inside. Good bacon herby sausages and egg. My mint hot chocolate was very indulgent. My partner had healthier but equally tasty food. The inside of the barge seems still very authentic. Friendly chatty staff, would recommend."

"the personal was not very friendly. the food was served only an hour after our booking period (we were a party of 12 and the only people in the restaurant for the first 45 minutes, and just order breakfast) three of the party ordered picked eggs and all of whom we over cooked and completely hard. I suppose that was because they tried to send all food together, but we would have cooked it better and not served at the same time. also the portions of the sauce with some of the meals was very meagre. we didn't send the food back because we had waited so long, and the opportunity was a three-year birthday and they were very restless. not the usual service or food standard we usually get from this chain, although it was our first time in this industry. we are here because frankie and bennys could not book a book at the same time. next time we will return to frankie and bennys."

"Food was excellent, every dish was enjoyed. Service was poor. Started off well but after the starters were put on the table service took a noticeable down turn. Had to call over for drinks to which the waitress started walking off after one drink was said. After mains were finished, dishes just stayed on the table, could see wait staff just hanging around or doing remedial jobs like drying glasses. After maybe 40 minutes from finishing our mains, we'd had enough and asked for the bill. By then we still had most of our dishes still on the table and never got asked if we wanted dessert. Wait staff seem young and inexperienced, restaurant didn't seem particularly busy for a Saturday night."

"Booked this for a birthday family lunch had driven past many times and thought what a cute pub with a beautiful church opposite. It’s way more than that the service is impeccable the food is exquisite! 5* does not do this place and everyone working there justice everyone was amazing I’ve never known such friendly customer service in such beautiful quaint setting! Absolute gem! We will now be regulars! They catered for everything and everyone and accommodated last minute time change on a very busy day. Staff were rushed off their feet but not once were they ever not attentive the manger in there and is clearly running a fantastic team by being a shining example never known anything like it!
