"The Rocka restaurant is wonderful, I am not going to contradict that. But many things have changed and in my opinion not all for the better. It's one of my favorites in Portsmouth. But this trip they have faltered, the service a little slow. The first courses were good as always, the price increase is noticeable, now we ordered the quinoa and chickpea salad and it had everything except quinoa and chickpeas. The hummus plate does not justify the price for the amount they put in, it is anecdotal, there is hardly any humus on the plate. I think they should go over a few things. I will return, because I like it. But I consider that I will delay going again. All the best"

"I have been a fan of Andre's for 25 years, I don't live in Portsmouth but visit Andres whenever I'm in southsea. Sadly the last 2 times have been disappointing, I always get a seafood baguette with extra onion and seafood sauce, last time my partner brought it home for me I complained there was no extra seafood sauce.... he insisted he asked and figured perhaps they forgot and we left it at that. He went and got me one on Monday (2 days ago) Brought it home and same thing, was actually dry and hard to see any seafood sauce never mind any extra, same goes for the onion there was barely any. The size of the baguette also bears mentioning as they have become much slimmer than they were, it's almost comical how skinny they are and considering its £5.30 I don't feel that it is value for money or worth the money. I appreciate everyone's feeling the pinch but don't like being ripped off and sadly that's what I feel. Saying that I still gave 4 stars as don't want to spoil they're rating over constructive criticism."

"I attended a drag themed bottomless brunch where I paid for both food and drinks. Unfortunately, no food ever arrived despite multiple inquiries. The chef was reportedly rude and told the waiter to leave each time we asked about our order. We waited for food from 1:30 until 4:30 in a cramped booth meant for 8 people but stuffed with 10 hungry ladies. The drag acts had to navigate stairs to interact with everyone due to the venue's multiple levels, making it challenging to enjoy both food and entertainment simultaneously. The Brunch Club has yet to provide a refund for the unsatisfactory experience. I would not recommend this venue due to poor service, overselling, and failure to deliver on orders. I do not plan on returning."

"as a family we have ordered a lot from here and eating was nice, last year has gone yammies massiw down, the last time we have ordered that the food has grown up and not been the correct order when we have. this evening the last thing was rough, because our last order was bad, we gave them a last change and yet again it was wrong. we arranged and talked to the manager who, as always, blown up the phone and called us lügner. the kebab himself looked lukewarm and I wouldn't have fed him to my cat. Of course we will never use them again, enough is enough. there are many other kebab sites in portsmouth that are far better, isanbul grill and mehmets to name good service and good food from both. well, you're just not yummy"

"Been about a year since last visiting, and pleased to report that the food and service is still superb.From the chicken pakora starter, that was so tasty and juicy, seeing the herbs in the batter mix, to the daily specials on offer. All cooked superbly. And the thing that makes Kadirs stand out is their genuine interest in making sure you enjoy your food and if you want to know about what you're eating they will take the time to explain it to you.Tried a recommended competitor recently and that was massively disappointing, boring food and no interaction from the staff..... If you want some unusual dishes, that are sublime, a relaxed atmosphere (without white table clothes), great service then Kadir's is for you to try."
