Great little find. Nice wine list, by bottle or glass and nice nibbles/light bites from morish breads to a small selection of hot plates. Pretty tight for space, so not easy to get a seat, and maybe buffeted by otter passing customers.

The restaurant has an impressive wine selection, although the menu is difficult to read. It would be beneficial to have the option to select specific cheeses for the cheeseboard, as the menu does not provide details on what is included. Lovely little wine bar, ideal for a relaxed evening with friends. I didn’t see the upper floor and can’t comment about the food but the very reasonably priced bottle of wine and the cheese board were just what we needed after dinner elsewhere. The only negative is that the night we visited it was rather heavy on the American tourist side, and we really struggled hearing each other amongst people shouting at each other for no particular reason. Will definitely return, perhaps better when tourist season ends.

Good food, at rather small but appropriate portions. Excellent wine list, but most of the more interesting bottles are kept in a display stand at the entrance, good for showing off but in suboptimal (too warm/too bright) conditions. This didn 't affect the bottle we opened however. My real issue is with their business practices. An optional 12,5% service charge was added to my bill without informing me or asking my permission. The bill arrived wrapped around their business card with the lettering on the inside. Not ever before having had an optional charge added without being asked about this I paid without questions. My partner and I were really excited to visit this wine bar, which is known for its really nice selection of wines. Regrettably, after the bottle of wine was served (also presented with chipped glasses which were changed after we asked to) and some food was ordered, suddenly the emergency building flat’s alarm went annoyingly on for at least 20 to 30 minutes. Further the inconvenience, a staff member informed us that they wouldn’t feel comfortable to serve us the food, because they didn’t know how long the sound of the alarm would have last and consequently, the server offered us to take away the bottle which was already opened and partly poured.
