The Apollinare restaurant offers an excellent quality of food, with also a fairly large choice, in a pleasant setting in Spoleto's historical centre. While the culinary experience is absolutely to be appreciated and recommended, unfortunately the restaurant surprised us with some unexpected and unfortunate service shortcomings that have lowered its rating. The lack of a proper customers reception when arriving at the restaurant, excessive waiting time between dishes and the need to pay at a small desk, queuing with other paying customers were well below expectations. Pity, because the food, while rather expensive, is truly excellent!

I came back a year in this restaurant. the atmosphere inside is intimate and welcoming, while the outdoor space is framed by the buildings of the historic center.
