"I visited this restaurant recently with a group of friends. Upon arrival, we were seated quickly in a quiet area of the restaurant which is always a good thing. The restaurant/shisha lounge is situated on the rooftop of the building with outdoor facilities for shisha. Overall the decor of the restaurant was not too bad and was appropriate in regards to matching the Arabian cuisine. In terms of the food, I myself ordered the hummus and chicken shawarma starter with the lamb steak main with rice. One thing I noticed is that both the starter and main were heavily sprinkled with what seemed to be paprika. This garnish was completely unnecessary as it did not add to the overall dish. For the starter, the hummus was bland, lacking flavour and being very salty. The shawarma on top was also bland. The steak main, was overcooked therefore being very though. The rice however had a mild, citrusy taste which is as expected from middle eastern cuisune. The dish was also served with a side salad (more like an abundance of lettuce), which again was sprinkled with an unnecessary heap of paprika. I noticed how the majority of waiters were not very active when it came to checking up on customers. During the meal, I asked for a glass of tap water, which I was denied. The waiter then said they only sell bottled water and asked if I would like some, which I kindly said no to. However the waiter did bring over a bottle of water which he gave to me as a complementary drink, which I suppose was a very kind gesture. Now comes the disappointing part... When it came to the bill we noticed how they charged us twice for a chicken burger my friend ordered, however this mistake was quickly rectified by management. My friend also wanted to break a ten pound note into two fivers, which the guy at the counter refused and said I 'll give you nine pounds instead as part of some sort of commission. As we were a large group and opted to pay separately for the items each individual ordered, management refused to do this and told us to go back to are tables. And give the amount as a whole and sort out the change ourselves. Seeing how ignorant and rude the staff were and how tired we were also, we then decided to do as they said. When asked why, the guy at the counter said they did not have any change, which is odd for a restaurant at operating times and should have been dealt with immediately. If they were to tell us this from the start, maybe we would be more understanding. Whilst on our way out, one member of staff sarcastically asked if every was solved with a smirk, to which only my good nature prevented me from wiping off that smirk. Overall the the food wasn 't as tasty as expected and the lack of responsibility from staff made our first visit to this place, also our last."
