"Artigiani Scotto is a precious little gem among all the pizza restaurants we have visited along our 5000 km trip around Italy. From the very first bite of the crispy and delightfully fluffy cornicione you know you are in TRUE NEAPOLITAN PIZZA heaven. Don’t look any further – the pizza doesn’t get any better than this. The place is run by Gianni Scotto, the winner of the Campionato Mondiale del Pizzaiuolo 2016 competition. He is a very nice guy, passionate about pizza, who has been running this place with his wife Valeria for a few years and managed to create a truly unforgettable experience for their guests. The pizzas of Gianni come of course in classical ways like Margherita, Marinara, Diavola or Capricciosa so if you are a traditionalist, you will find your favorite options here as well, BUT the real feast starts with an incredible range of what I would call pizza gourmet the seasonal pizzas (Pizze Stagionali and pizzas of the day (Pizze del Giorno that make this particular pizza experience truly unique. Artigiani Scotto compose their amazing pizza variations out of the best ingredients from the region of Sorrento and other parts of Italy. Of course, you may say that “all restaurants claim that they carefully select the best ingredients” but unlike in 95% of cases – in Artigiani Scotto this is for REAL. You will know it from the very first bite into the fried yellow tomato on your Napoletana Gialla or Due Pomodori pizza – the taste simply explodes in your mouth and you realize that this is the best tomato you have every eaten… And this is just the prelude to what you will be experiencing with every piece. The same impression comes with anything you taste here – from the orange flavored olive oil, crazy aromatic and delicate provolone cheese or the best prosciutto crudo I have ever had on a pizza or alone. But that’s not all. The pizza is definitely a must have when you come to Artigiani Scotto but they go much further than that. Every single dish served here is a masterpiece in itself. You may choose from meticulously composed yet simple antipasti, incredible pastas or risottos that burst with flavors and mouth watering desserts that all look like a small piece of art and taste even better. Everything is perfected to the smallest of details. The presentation of the dish, the smells and the flavors make your brain melt... OK. The food is awesome, but there is more. We were also delighted by the passion, open heartedness and a great joy of making something delicious for people, that we could feel from the approach of the whole team not only Gianni, but also the waiters and waitresses. The culinary perfection, the art of serving people by creating a delightful experience, the joy of being together, sharing and creating relationships. It was an amazing feast on many levels, not just culinary. We visited Artigiani Scotto twice during our short stay on the Amalfi Coast. We tried several pizzas and other dishes, starters and desserts, and everything was an absolute masterpiece. You will be surprised that all this comes at very attractive prices that make you wonder how something that tastes so good and costs so little can still be legal… ; Alora, if you have ever been looking for a place with a true Italian soul and delicious Neapolitan pizza on the Amalfi Coast I wholeheartedly recommend Artigiani Scotto in Piano di Sorrento. Last but not least, in my career I used to be the owner and also the chef in an Italian restaurant back in my home country, Poland. I learned from and practiced with Italian pizzaiuolos and chefs myself. Hope this makes my recommendation at least a bit more worth considering. You will thank me for it! ;"

Esperienza eccezionale e personale super cortese. Abbiamo mangiato una pizza diavola e la pizza flegrea. Consigliatissime entrambe le pizze ma la Flegrea ha rubato il mio cuore! Buona e non pesante. Prima esperienza in questa pizzeria ad agosto 2020. Posizione centrale a Piano Di Sorrento, con facoltà di parcheggio. Abbiamo cenato all'esterno. Pizza ottima di cui non ricordo i nomi: una era con i pistacchi e mortadella, l'altra con zucchine e provolone. Impasto sottile e leggero, pizza gustosa. Ho preferito quella con le zucchine. La cameriera donna bassino molto affabile e gentilissima. Ho dato uno sguardo alla location interna e mi è sembrato un bel locale. Consigliato
