Had a nice lunch at Ashby’s. Well priced food, lovely veggie breakfast and great coffee.

graet roasted sandwiches, absolutely with delicious chicken, speck etc., make this a place to return. also good coffee!

The menu was comprehensive, the service was very good and the quality was excellent. I would highly commend to those who appreciate the difference between good quality simple food well cooked rather than cheap processed ’fast food’ pay your money, make your choice !

best burger I ever had (beet it,) not overcooked and so delicious. far better than vege burger I had from many specialized Burger restaurants. her mini wobble bhajis are also incredible, had never made bhajis with red wobble, but so much more tasty for her. excellent service even if busy.

Fabulous cafe. We were a party of 7 drenched cyclists on Saturday lunchtime. The staff were most accommodating and welcoming, they didn't mind that we were dripping water everywhere! The Mediterranean wrap was delicious, as were the potato wedges. Hot, strong black coffee soon warmed me up, and by the time we left it had almost stopped raining. Thanks, and hope to make a return visit!

Booked a table for 11:30, took order immediately still not served by 12:15 we had to leave as we had to go somewhere, seemed to have loads of takeaways going out rather than concentrating on sit in customers. This place used to be good, won't be going again! The people on the table next to us waited an hour, and another lady walked out. Unless you have all afternoon I wouldn't bother.

Went for lunch. Had the veggie breakfast which was pretty standard. Quorn sausages not the most exciting of veggie sausages but they're OK. The scrambled egg was standard not as soft as I would like. The main complaint would be that it comes with mushrooms, plural being the key but there was HALF a mushroom on the plate! That really let it down. The hot beef sandwich with gravy and wedges was much better. Would visit again but wouldn't have the breakfast.
