We had not booked, but we were welcomed for Lunch even thou the Restaurant was busy. A lovely table in the Garden. The set menu at 39 Euro was excellent value for the high quality, beautifully presented dishes. A real treat!

perfect lunch with a very attentive chef since he has practically made a personalized menu for every guest (we were 3). The service is present without being invasive. We were disappointed at our stage in this establishment, despite the good reception of the owners. the rooms are large and clean, but the decor and the old-fashioned equipment. We did not like to sleep at all on a very noisy plastic elbow and little cozy...The table is good, copier but so classic: too much sauce, too rich, basic presentation, wines too expensive. and the impression that we are being pushed to consumption.We do not recommend.

We were on a hike in the Morvan when we came upon this lovely auberge at lunchtime. We had not booked a table but were welcomed. Excellent set lunch menu with well chosen and well prepared local ingredients. A joy to eat. And as mentioned elsewhere: the wine list is excellent. It has a flair of 'tradition ' in a very pleasing way. At the end of our meal, the chef came to our table in person to check how we liked it. Traditional hospitality at its best. for lovers of good tables, good wines, this is the address not to be missed. the hostel is in a quiet place in the Morvan regional park. the master of the place Mr.Salamolar is a passionate leader and a rare kindness. His kitchen is in his image. its tasting menu is a pure wonder. it comes to explain each dish that it accompanies more amazing wines than others. its cellar (one of the most important in the region) contains bottles out of the ordinary. we have lived, as every time a moment of great happiness. quality is love and in this place, we love those who love life.

Chef-Patron's kitchen is remarkable. we had taken the menu at 59€ with three dishes, cheese and dessert. This menu was very well balanced and perfectly controlled.A. when the reward of the michelin star that had been removed (I think in a questionable and very questionable way).
