We ate in the piano bar area, which was comfortable and a good atmosphere (if a little too noisy for easy conversation). We were able to choose from both bar and restaurant menus. All four of us enjoyed our beautifully presented food and our drinks, the service was excellent, and I’d definitely go there again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

This restaurant is an absolute gem. Came here with friends, who live locally, who'd been meaning to try it, not got round to it. The service is impeccable, the food was cooked perfectly, and tasted fantastic. The wine list is extensive and a little offputting, but the house wines are extremely good. I look forward to eating here again, on my next visit to Prestbury. Parking: Across the road is a free car park, entrance is up the hill, over the roundabout, first left. There's a cut through past the churchyard, which means you're less than 80 yards away, if you can't park in the street.

Went here for first time recently with friends. Saturday lunch. We had a mix of table d’hote and a la carte menu but nothing was too much trouble and any personal tastes willingly accommodated. It was fairly quiet at the time we were there so we were lucky to have more than one waiter serving but each gave us excellent, friendly attention. I love quality food and quality linen and was not disappointed. The food was superb and cooked to perfection. I particularly enjoyed the cod which was done in a tasty butter sauce and the ginger sponge with crème anglais in its own exquisite miniature sauce boat was one of the lightest I have ever had.
