"After a long day of travel, we decided on our hotel’s restaurant for dinner and we really regret it. The food was not good. There’s an attempt at mixing unique ingredients and it just does not work at all. I feel as though there is more effort out into the presentation than the actual food and recipe itself. My husbands meal was bad, like truly tasted like it was made by a child experimenting with ingredients. It was a lamb ragu pasta with blueberries and we were skeptical but assured it was great. It was not. Not even sure it was lamb, too. We had an appetizer than was supposed to be beef but resembled and tasted like cheap cold lunch meat. The food took so long despite us being only 1 of 4 tables. The drinks were good, but we sat for 2 hours before finally getting our entree and we were so disappointed. Waste of a meal (and waste if money) for our only night in Rome."

I went home after spending 100 euro for two people and ate some cheese sandwiches. Not a fan of these restaurants where you have to pretend to be happy with tiny portions. I'm not a large person or huge eater.
