Baita La Faggeta - Speisekarte

I had an amzing lunch with my customer at this lovely restaurant in Soriano nel Cimino last March. The food was delicious, tending to fresh pork dishes. I uploaded photos but can't recall exacdtly what the dishes were as my customer did all the ordering. Service was excellent.

We were looking for a way to stay cool on a hot summer day. We were directed to an beautiful forest and a scenic hike. Much to our surprise there was an unexpected treasure at the base of our hike, a gourmet restaurant. Service and food were impeccable. We can't wait to go back!!!

we stayed in this restaurant of Soriano after visiting the beech forest! the atmosphere is classic, like the setting, which seems firm for the years we ate appetizers (sliced and mixed bruschettes,) and homemade fettuccine with artichokes and white ragù. all very good, great service and prices in the average

The food was quite good but the portion sizes were enormous. If you go, then definitely get a starter to share- it’s almost as big as the main! The staff are very pleasant and the restaurant itself is lovely and its’ surroundings. Overall, their idea was good, but the refinement wasn’t there. They went for quantity over quality.

After an exhilarating drive to the park, we arrived at the restaurant. We had buffalo mozzarella appetizer, delicious. Followed by this was rabbit for myself, it was delectable. My wife had home made pasta with a bolognese type sauce . Also a wonderful dish. The waiter did a marvelous job of explaining the menu to us. Top notch place to have a leisurely meal.

Had late lunch here with two families while on vacation. Excellent menu with lots of game to chose from. Very big servings by Italian standards. They even were able to accommodate a request for chicken cutlets that were not on the menu by one of the more particular 11 year olds in our party. Excellent service. Nice wine list and such a beautiful setting. Well worth the nausea inducing drive up the winding road to get to the top.

What a fantastic, mystic, peaceful place this Faggeto Vetusto del Cimino. Wonderful forest. And the Baita restaurant is tucked almost at the top of the mountain, surrounded by trees, a warm atmosphere of a happy Saturday, several celebrations at different tables. Service is professional, food is very well prepared, excellent ingredients, typical from the Cimini in this seasons (chestnuts, porcini, wild bore, etc). A very good lunch.

popped here after a drive around looking at the scenery thought we would book for the following evening as a birthday meal as soon as we walked in we got 'dirty looks ' we weren 't scruffy in fact quite smart for day wear , we asked to look at a menu and the chap just nodded with a to them I do speak a little Italian and made the effort but he looked at us as if we were something stuck on his shoe then just walked past us , I didn 't even look at the menu I put it back and walked out . maybe he doesn 't like English people -his loss, shame place looked nice
