the food was very good and the service was excellent. all the requested condiments were provided and a catch of the day was available.

Well worth a visit, excellent Fish chips (cooked to order) Servce also on par, The Haddock was lovely and crispy Will certainly visit again.

how can you forget the muddy peas! decent fish, chips cut, but not to send the complete order is more than disappointing. without yorkshire puddings I would not enjoy bark meat

We visited this restaurant whist visiting family in Brighton. I really had an urge for fish and chips; and as I am gluten intolerant it is quite difficult to find a restaurant that caters for gluten free fried fish and chips. The staff were really...friendly, and the service was prompt and efficient. The food was served very Quickly , and cooked To order. Generous portions and absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend and I’ll Definitely return.

today visited brighton and sought bardsleys as a friend that it was worth a visit. I'm so glad I did it, without doubt the best fish and chips I've cost for a long time. the squid was freshly boiled and perfected, fish. was pure white, the scattered and crispy as I like and the muddy heaps were also the right consistency. service was friendly and prompt. will be next visit in the opposite well worth the effort to look bardsleys rather than the shops at the sea.

The fish was fairly good but, that's where it ends. The chips are below average. Nothing special at all. The beef burgers were rank, thin and tough(the bun was good though). The battered sausage was extremely crunchy.. Like.. Super crunchy and the sausage was about...average too. The price was very high for what it is. Less than half this price at my local award winning chip shop. Unfortunately got sucked in by the reviews. Staff were smiley and friendly though.

as a dog owner I often find it difficult to find restaurants that allow pets. I called before to check, and the staff was so inviting and said it was nice to bring the dog. we came and bew, so kindly asked us if we had a bowl of water for the dog I found so beautiful. the fish and chips were really fresh and tasty, served with the option curry sauce, tartae sauce and mushy heap. overall we found the experience at the best, amazing, and when we return to brighton and in the mood for fish and chips, this is undoubtedly our first choice!

Wednesday August table of on the takeaway side. We have just returned from a mini break in Brighton and while there we had dinner at Bardsleys, afterall you can’t go to the seaside and not have fish and chips can you....It was probably the best fish and chip supper we have had and it is advisable to book beforehand. It was well worth the minute walk from the beachfront to get there. Bev was just fabulous and made us very welcome. My only complaint would be that we don’t live close enough to be a regular visitor to it. Thank you Bev and Bardsleys, hope to see you again one day x

I never normally write online reviews but I just had to for Bardsley's absolutely Words cannot do it justice. One of the best meals I've ever had in my life on this earth. We knew Bardsley's was going to be good and...in fact, Bardsley's EXCEEDED expectations. This is fish chips that you need to try if you're ever in Brighton the quality of the meal was just superb the texture, taste and flavour were all bang-on. The condiment and overall quality Portion sizes great too a proper meal! The customer service was too Bev is a pleasure and made our visit that bit nicer including some postcards as a free souvenir of the restaurant at the end! The restaurant is about a minute walk from the main sea...
