Cozy tearoom with delicious tea and scones, especially nice after a walk

Really nice cafe , I enjoyed creamy mushrooms on toast. And gingery lime drink.

The cake we ordered was extremely dry and the sodas we ordered were overpriced. The sandwich was very plain, with store-bought thin bread. Speisekarte ansehen

Lovely tearoom with great staff who are always always friendly and professional. We called only for a toasted teacake and cup of coffee, both of which were superb.

Was unable to try anything as the cafe isn’t dog friendly. Which was a shame because my family and I, plus my very small dog, had travelled especially to try the coffee and cakes. Seems a shame to exclude the majority. We weren’t even offered a takeaway!

Surprisingly quiet when we arrived for a late lunch on bank holiday Monday but a great stop off after visiting Old Wardour Castsle a few minutes drive away. They were very good with the kids and accommodated us very well. I enjoyed the Rarebit, and the Carrot Cake was amazingly moist and delicious! Speisekarte ansehen

I am writing a new review because the restaurant now offers something called an 'Avo-go-go' and it is absolutely fantastic. It's fun to order and definitely a must-try dish. This has become one of my favorite tea places, especially as I am heading back to Wiltshire. Harry, Mia, and the team know how to take care of their customers and the atmosphere is relaxing, a bit jazzy, and incredibly friendly.

And from good young staff working kindly and well seems to me, each doing. Good team get on ways, kindly doing, persevering so too. (The toilet could do with bit of an update and whoever cleans it being more sharp on the ball to make it all sweet spick and span... like the rest of the lovely place is..! Good Friday turned into a really bad one. We had not been to Beatons for 3 months because we said we would never go back, but they say time heals. The order for my wife and I was, Scrambled Egg on Toast, Crispy Bacon and Egg Sandwich (Poached), and 2 One Shot Lattes. The young waitress was very pleasant. Unfortunately she then went on to serve 2 customers that arrived after us which ment we didn 't get our drinks till after our cooked breakfast arrived. My wife had a third coffee and two thirds foam. Really bad result. The food came and my wifes egg on toast was one slice of toast, a bit mean. When I opened my sandwich the bacon was nearly raw, the fat around the outside was still transparen...
