"The last three times I have dined here it has been an absolute pleasure. The staff and service are excellent as is the menu.I return for Chicken Jalfrezi which , alongside the mixed kebab starter, is a must. The depth of flavour and the subtlety of spices is remarkable. I have dined here many times with parties up to eight and everyone has been most satisfied.Nothing is too much trouble and they cater for Gluten Free diets. The restraurant decor may be looking tired but there is a price to pay for the removal of character. Such a good welcoming place."

Been going to this place for 30yrs (including the Rajpoot) and the food is absolute top notch and the staff very friendly. If you want a perfect Indian meal then make sure you choose here and I certainly will be doing so this Sunday and I cannot wait

Stayed at wakefield for one night, so chose to eat out, found this restaurant, almost in centre of wakefield, surrounding area is industrial, parking a bit tight, but great meal and really cheap, very quiet. Only £19.00 for sarter, nan, main and a beer.

We called here early evening after a visit to the nearby Theatre Royal. Being early, the restaurant was quiet and we had a choice of tables. The food was very good and all of the staff were helpful and friendly. This was our first visit, but we will certainly be back

Came here in a group of 4, arrived around 11pm on a Saturday night by chance, as we decided we were hungry and this was the nearest curry house. Staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Menu was extensive and the quality of the food was superb. Really good value for money too, around £20 a head to include starters and a large bottle of beer each.

Love the food at Bengal palace no complaints at all but, we called for a takeaway realised afterwards when we were home that we were over charged for the meal, our fault for not questioning this at the time, just take care question the amount which I should have done, would use again but would make sure I got a bill from them next time this was checked fully before paying.

Go to the bengal palace at least once a month. This is by far the best indian food money can buy. Big menu with small prices! They will adjust any dish to suit your taste. I like very mild food and thats what i get. My husband likes spicy and he loves the food too. I recommend the mixed grill and the naan bread are second to non! Service is super quick and always polite. Love this place we will be back!

First timers. This must have had a refit as a real deep carpet was on the floor and there were some signs on the walls about a refit.Great mixed starters and onion bhaji were balls with plenty of real sliced onions. Main courses were very nice and plenty of choice. Good friendly service and good prices. We normally go to the royal spice in Darton which hard to beat. This was was as good as good with prices to match.

Visited with my friends for our Christmas outing. The food was nothing short of amazing! The onion bajhis were the best i have ever eaten. The staff were great and you can tell the food is freshly prepared. Not like the rubbish served at a resraurant just round the corner that has supposed to have been awarded restaurant of the year for the last two years. Ye right, well im afraid you need to pass it over to the Bengal Palace. This is now our Indian of choice. It deserves more than 5 stars.

"Exploring the outskirts of Leeds led me to discover the gem that is Corarima, a gluten free, vegan haven in Wakefield. As someone currently navigating a gluten free journey, stumbling upon this Abyssinian vegan/gluten free restaurant was a true delight. Opting for the combination platter for two was a journey through a sensory layer cake a symphony of tastes and smells expertly presented. We embraced the experience, relishing the deliciousness with our hands, a practice met with the owner's delighted approval. The host, a charming and attentive soul, took us on a culinary tour, passionately detailing each dish. He was so warm, Friendly and attentive without being over bearing. The decor added to the warmth, creating a homely ambiance that made this dining experience extraordinary. In the realm of UK dining, Corarima has secured its spot among our favorites. It's more than a restaurant; it's a rare and complete experience, a testament to the charm and authenticity of Abyssinian cuisine. I wish we lived closer as we’d visit regularly for sure! Dietary restrictions: I’ve recently had to go gluten free whilst also being vegan so it was wonderful to relax knowing that the menu was accommodating of my dietary requirements Kid friendliness: Whilst we were dining a family arrived with a young baby and the host was so charming and attentive with the baby. Engaging with the baby as if it was any other diner (even offering to take his order)!"
