"We visited Port William Inn for the first time during a trip from Cornwall, and we were thoroughly impressed. Our room had a stunning view of the sea, which made our stay even more special. Given that there weren't many dining options nearby, we decided to eat at the inn, and we were glad we did. Our waiters, Matt and Marcus, were exceptional; they collaborated with the chef to accommodate my dietary needs, ensuring we had an amazing experience. The food was excellent, and the service was even better—no request was too small for them! I highly recommend this place!"

"My friend and I stumbled on this pub following our walk exploring the coastline and castle. . The first thing we noticed was that the venue was very popular, which is a good sign. . On entering the pub we were made to feel very welcome by the two lads working behind the bar and both knew how to welcome tourists to the pub and make you feel at home. . We only planned to have a drink, but after seeing the food and seeing how amazing the staff were serving other customers we decided to stay for dinner. So glad we did, the waghu burger was amazing and the best I've had for a while. . Great pub and just what you need after a long walk. Go take a look. Food drinks: The food was excellent and much more than the usual pub grub. . Great selection of local beers guiness"

"Not child friendly! We went here yesterday but since it is already 30mins before closing, we can only order drinks and cakes for me and my wife. Unfortunately they don’t have any food or bread for my daughter so we just let her eat her own bread (normal for parents to bring child’s backup food, especially if the child is picky eater). Then just as my wife is about to give the bread to my daughter, the server ran towards us and said “outside food is not allowed”. How can someone be so heartless preventing a hungry child from eating her food! It is just a coffee shop, nothing special or extraordinary to be this strictly exclusive to prevent a child from eating her own food."

"I visited this farm shop in the summer of 2022 and returned during our camping trip in late August 2023. The café area offers a variety of seating options both indoors and on a lovely enclosed terrace. During our two visits in 2023, we enjoyed coffee and cake one time and breakfast on our departure day the next. The coffee was excellent and served in charming blue cups. My son indulged in a tempting shake while my wife opted for a mocha, all of which were delightful. The cakes were a hit as well. On our last visit, I ordered the mid-sized vegetarian breakfast, which was exceptional. Many places struggle with the quality of veggie sausages, but these were fantastic. It made for a great send-off on our journey home. Both times, the young ladies serving were wonderful—helpful and friendly, and they happily changed my egg from fried to scrambled. Having worked in a busy coffee shop before, I understand how challenging it can be, so I truly appreciate having a positive experience like this. We also made some essential purchases and bought gifts in the shop, which was quite convenient. The restroom was clean and tidy, always a good indication of a well-maintained establishment. We will definitely plan to visit again on our next trip to North Cornwall."

"Blink and you may miss it. But you definitely don't want to! A small shop on a little strip with a limited amount of parking outside. There were people queued outside 10 mins before opening. The shop uses a clever system that allows for pre-ordered food, a couple of touch screens with card payments and the traditional order at the counter. The front counter is organised into sections for efficiency, and they are a well oiled machine. The bit you are probably waiting for.... The food. We ordered chicken pieces (x8), chips and a homemade curry sauce. Steak pie, chips and curry sauce. The chicken was excellent, the pie was exactly what you would want, and the chips were as good as I have ever had. They say you can judge a chip shop by their fish and chips. Although I didn't try the fish this time, I would be confident it was very good and will no doubt try that next time. The curry sauce was fantastic. Easily one of the best I have had. You can tell it's homemade. Although this chip shop is at least 20 mins from my home, it has now become the only place I would buy from. In short, wonderful food, fast turnaround, and pleasant staff who are extremely efficient. Oh, almost forgot. Reasonably priced too! 5 stars.
