Lovely choice of take away items and you can also pick up a coffee all the food looks excellent and great value

The tarte au citron and quiches at this restaurant are absolutely delicious. I would love to see a wider variety of coffee options available as well.

An edible treasure trove of goodness and delights. Many things you never knew you just had to have in you larder! You can put on weight from the marvelous aromas.

There is a fantastic selection of food available at this restaurant. The mince pies served during Christmas are absolutely delicious. If you happen to be in the village, it is definitely worth stopping by to try them out. Simply delightful.

Popped in for some home picnic ingredients and left with THE most delicious pork pie and wee quiches. Pastry to die for on the pork pie. Yumm!!! Could have indulged in so much more from the tempting array of meats, cheeses, breads, sweet treats and...so much more. And great, friendly service. Speisekarte ansehen

I made my lunch a little special. simple tuna and gurke in an even warm brown baguette. not easy to be perfect in my experience, but that was how the service, smiling and clearly hard work to serve a pleasure. I could extend my waist by a few inches, but I will save this for my next visit. Thank you.

Delightful small deli, where you can stock up for your holiday cottage, or take away from the small but excellent selection of fresh salads, quiches the best I’ve tasted in years, crisp fine pastry and superbly balanced filling and other sweet and savoury...offerings. You could create a splendid picnic for walking on Dartmoor, or help yourself to coffee or tea and perch on a roadside chair with a filled baguette or brownie. Enjoy!

I'm Chagford-phile. who wouldn't? even so. black’s is wonderful by everyone standard. I visited so many years and always had a black’s baguette for lunch on the moor during my walk. I always have one of their beautiful cakes home. today I had some delicious aromas. Sellie and cashew nuts for lunch and a wonderful apricot and mandeltee for my pudding back to home in bournemouth. eating is so fresh and high quality. very charming owners too. please remain open for more 5 years minimum so that I can continue to visit.
