The food was overpriced and the Hot Drinks were cold and the service was poor not a very good selection of Cold Drinks as well

We were a group who had been on a tour of the museum, and we had ordered our meals in advance. Sorry but he standard of food was really poor. We were most disappointed.

as an Italian I say that the food sucks pizza is not a pizza arancini are rice balls fried in a garlic sauce with cheese on top if you don't know how to make Italian cuisine don't do it Speisekarte ansehen

Had lunch break while visiting science museum,staff very helpfull,found us a table in a quiet place,and servedus very quickly the food is pricey but nice attentive staff and enjoyed meal

At least for me, the dining experience at London museums has been a surprise. The menus may not be that extensive but the food preparation has been well done. Seems better that what you get in the states.

We visited The Dinner at the Science Museum in mid July and without a doubt it was the best meal we had in London during our time there. For Australians, price wise it is on par with Hogs Breath, so it wasn't cheap, but it was worth it. We had hamburgers, chips and soft drinks and weren't disappointed. We were tired and hungry from shopping on Regents and Oxford Streets. Searched online for a place near us to eat, and The Diner came up with good reviews. We almost walked by it because the windows were darkened, and it looked like it was closed, but glad we tried the door. The place was packed, but we were quickly seated towards the back of the restaurant. Cheeseburgers and fries were great! Beers, shakes, floats. Or if you prefer, they serve breakfast all day! We really enjoyed it and the service was good.

The Science Museum is a wonderful place to explore technologies old and new. It has everything from ancient steam engines to space travel, it explains how and why things work and it has the Wonderlab where you can get your hands on the exhibits and play with them to your heat's content. What it doesn't have is a good restaurant in The Diner. We ordered a chicken Caesar salad and a chicken burger. In both cases the chicken had either died of old age or had been cooked to death. it was dry and tasteless. The burger had a smear of mayonnaise and a few bits of red pepper but not much else. The food, albeit a tad expensive, was nice. Good portion sizes and served quickly, however it was fairly quiet when we visited. What disappointed me was the service. We were served by a lovely young girl who was very chatty and friendly, who told us there was no rush. My partner finished his food before me, and his plate was quickly whisked away before I had even got half way through my food (he's a fast eater! . The waitress then returned, asking if we would like any coffees or desserts... But I was still eating my main! This didn't impress me at all, but the tip of the iceberg was after we declined desserts and coffees, she returned with the bill and card machine asking if we wanted to pay... Speisekarte ansehen
