"We visited this restaurant last week after reading the reviews. Wow! I'm so glad we did. We were welcomed by Julie who couldn't have been a more accommodating or warm, friendly host. She made sure we were comfortable with our table and explained the menu and specials. The food when it arrived was extremely well cooked and presented. We both enjoyed our meals and wine choices. The portion sizes are generous but this is certainly not a case of quantity over quality. I would highly recommend this lovely homely restaurant to eat in or get a takeaway we did both). It's good, honest Portuguese fayre at very reasonable prices. Thank you Jose and Julie"

Excellent food and great service! Food was all freshly cooked and portions were very generous! Service was great and we all felt very welcomed. Would 100% recommend this place. Steak was amazing.

It isn’t fine dining but what it is is great food, cooked well by Jose and delivered with a smile by his wife Julie. Just brilliant. For the greedy amongst you the portions are huge too, you’ll not go hungry. See you next time! Speisekarte ansehen

Very basic restaurant but don’t let that fool you, the service received is warm and friendly and the food is amazing. If I return to the area again, I’ll be heading back !!! Great portion size, quality ingredients perfectly prepared and all at very reasonable prices.

highly recommended large eating- visited here as family on the other night after some good reviews and this is a real hidden gem. eating was amazing and tasteful with massive portions. good and friendly service from a lady i think was the owner. we had a bark stew, a massive pork jar, local fish and canary chicken with veg and handcut chips. great value for money and really delicious food would recommend a visit. do not let them be like a local restaurant!
